Aizawa and Present Mic escort Hotaru to the police station where she hears the detective she knows is close to All Might. She relaxes a bit thinking he is the one that is going to be asking her questions before she senses his confusion. She is lead by an unfamiliar police officer to an interrogation room where Aizawa and Present Mic stand behind her against the wall. She breathes out a tense breath as she sits across from the officer who seems upset.

"Midoriya-san, we'd just like to talk about what occurred while you were missing," he says causing her to straighten up.

"Where is the translator?" Aizawa asks from his spot with narrowed eyes.

"It's unnecessary since the two of you are in the room."

After I went to my room at the camp, I was listening to music to calm down when I heard the window above me open. I moved out of the way unsure of who had entered.

"Taru, who was it?" Present Mic gently asks knowing she hasn't told them for whatever reason she has.

Tomura Shigaraki was who came through the window and once I realized it was him a fight broke out. I used my flames a bit hoping it would keep him away, but I missed someone else entering the room. Kurogiri knocked me out from behind and when I woke up I was somewhere unfamiliar.

"How do you know the place was unfamiliar?"

I have a catalog in my head of places I have been to and the noises around there were not familiar. Then All For One appeared and began asking me questions that I refused to answer. After that they started dunking my head in the water until I couldn't breathe to try and persuade me.

She feels Aizawa and Yamada stiffen up behind her before translating her signing. She can feel the officer staring at her despite how she's looked away telling the story. They notice how tense she is recounting what happened, but the officer doesn't seem to care. She bites her lip before her eyes flicker sensing he's got another question.

"Do you know Dabi's true name?"

I may have known him long ago, but we never gave our names. I never asked because I could tell that he was uncomfortable around the question.

"I find that hard to believe. What is his name?"

I don't know!

"I find that hard to believe and it's not a coincidence that he attacked the summer camp you were at. Give me his identity!"

"I don't know! I've only known him through a nickname and I don't have to continue talking to you!" She shouts before grabbing her throat.

"That's enough," a firm voice from the door says.

"Sir, we need the information."

"Not at the expense of a minor who has undergone some trauma."

Hotaru is gripping her hair tightly as Aizawa kneels next to her softly speaking to her as Present Mic glares at the officer. Tsukauchi worriedly watches the young girl that All Might has warned him to never anger or upset and he can see why. She's different from the girl he met shortly after the USJ incident almost like she's lost control of her emotions. The officer stands there with their arms crossed over their chest staring at the sight before him.

"If you believe her then test her." He coldly says causing Tsukauchi to sigh.

"This is enough. Your pushing her too hard just a day after she was released from the hospital."

"You don't get it. Dabi has been wreaking havoc and we have nothing on him."

"Only if she agrees. Not only are you placing yourself on the bad side of these two, but you will end up on the wrong side of Nezu."

"Wow like that's anyone to be afraid of," the officer flippantly replies and jumps back when she slams her hands down in front of him.

Aizawa goes utterly still the instant she moves noticing how she is trembling despite trying to look fearless. However, they all can feel the rage pouring off her before she sits back down looking as if took everything out of her doing that. The officer trembles under her gaze not expecting that type of reaction from the meek girl who walked through the door.

"Don't you ever insult Nezu-sensei. Tsukauchi, I'm willing to do the test whatever it is."

"Kid, you don't have to. We know that you don't know his real name and they shouldn't be pushing you this hard."

I know, but they'll just hound us until I give them an answer. I just want this over.

Aizawa frowns before patting her head and going back to stand against the wall. He nods to Tsukauchi who sighs before kneeling next to Hotaru who looks him in the eyes. Under other circumstances he would have been unnerved, but he's already aware of her mannerisms to an extent.

"Hotaru, do you know Dabi's real name?"

"I don't and have never known Dabi's real name. The only thing I have ever called him is Nii-san and he calls me little fire because of my quirk. Not to mention my temper." She says with a soft smile and Tsukauchi nods relaxing.

"She's telling the truth. Now leave and expect for your boss to hear about this. Hotaru, I appreciate you giving us the information you did and I apologize for his behavior towards you."

"Why do people do that? Apologising for his actions when you have no control over them." She softly says causing him to stare at her.

"It's polite to do so. I see what he meant by the fact that you are different now, but he couldn't tell how. We're done here."

She perks up at that before standing up ready to go sending him a small smile before leaving with the two teachers she's currently being watched over by. She skips out of the precinct almost fooling everyone into believing that what just happened in the interrogation room didn't affect her. She twirls around in the streets without a care in the world and a calm look plastered on her face until she stops all of a sudden.

"Hotaru, is that you?"

Aizawa and Yamada automatically look to her noticing how she gives a wide grin before someone yanks her into a hug. They are startled when she gives them a hug and the woman picks her up causing her to give a happy squeak. When she's set on the ground she gives a watery smile rubbing at her eyes causing the blonde woman to frown.

"Auntie, it's been awhile. How is Katsu holding up?"

"The brat is fine, but the question is why your mom hasn't called me back about you. Katsuki was worried the moment the police left and asked why Inko wouldn't pick up if the school is calling."

"That's a long story Auntie and I don't have the energy to tell you. I just left the precinct because they had questions for me."

"Well, you need to come visit soon enough."

"We have to go visit parents. Right Sensei?" She says looking back at Aizawa causing Mitsuki's eyes to narrow.

"Yes and you'll be along with us."

"I'll be by soon Auntie and I'll answer any questions you ask me. Tell Katsu not to worry so much."

She heads off with Yamada when Mitsuki frowns causing Aizawa to sigh. It's obvious the woman cares about Hotaru's well-being and is worried about her. The woman is also obviously related to Katsuki considering Hotaru asked her about how he was doing.

"It's safe to assume you know Hotaru, then?"

"I've known her since she was a baby, but Inko never lets her kids out of her sight. Why isn't she with her mother?"

"Unfortunately, that is Hotaru's information to give to you. She's safe though so you don't have to worry about that."

Mitsuki is shocked when Aizawa walks off to catch up with Hotaru who is spinning around in the streets again. Yamada is trying not to laugh at her causing him to let out a quiet huff seeing the two energetic beings.
