Carlisia moaned which came out muffled because of the gag as she felt throbbing in her head but her eyes refused to open. Her back was stiff as she shook her head and consciousness returned to her. She remembered everything that happened. Every single detail. She tried to touch her forehead but her hands wouldn’t move. She tried again and realized that they tied behind her back.
Soon she became aware of the fact that she was tied, gagged and blindfolded on a chair.
She tried to get her hands out of the restraints but the ropes just cut her skin. He had already lost feeling in her feet and now she was losing movement in her hands to.
She didn’t as much as make a sound as she continued to struggle finally shaking her head to get the blindfold off which didn’t even move.
She finally threw her head down exhausted and took deep breaths. A migraine was working its way through. She tugged at the ropes again but nothing worked. She began to feel helpless and sobs racked through her body.
“I was wondering when you would give up.” A familiar chilling voice said.
Carlisia didn’t make a sound but her breathing did quicken.
“Now now no need to be scared love.” Carson said mockingly and as she heard footsteps approach her and she began sobbing.
She tried to say something but her words came out muffled.
“What did you say? I didn’t hear you.” Carson said and Carlisia sobbed at his mockery.
Soon the blindfold was ripped off of her eyes and Carlisia blinked rapidly.
Her vision was blurry but her eyes landed on the silhouette leaning in front of her.
“I was wondering when you were going to wake up. I thought I had killed you before the fun.” He said and in a split motion was in front of her causing Carlisia to scream into the gag.
Carson roughly grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him as she sobbed.
“Now, I am going to untie you and remove this gag from your mouth. A guy will come to give you some clothes and I want you change in them and freshen up or I swear I’ll come and change you myself. Am I clear?” He said sternly and Carlisia sobbed disgustedly.
“Am I clear?” He repeated again and Carlisia nodded quickly not wanting to anger him.
“Good girl.” He said and patted her head like a dog before grabbing the gag and removing it from her mouth.
In a second he ripped the ropes off of her ankle and wrists causing her to massage the red gashes produced.
“This is going to be your room. Get comfy cause you aren’t going anywhere for a while.” He said and with that slammed the door shut and left.
Carlisia sat on the chair and covered her face with her hands as she took deep breaths. She felt like wreck.
She tried to get up from the chair but ended up falling because of the pain in her ankles and her shaky legs.
More tears fell down her cheeks as she painfully got up and searched for the light switch.
She felt like a death row inmate. The one who never got a fair trial.
She didn’t deserve this. She was most probably going to be tortured to death for something she didn’t even know.
Finally she found the light switch and turned it on.
Dim light filled the room and she looked at it.
The room was spacious consisting only of a king bed a bookshelf with any books, a small table and the chair to which she was tied to.
The walls were a dark shade of maroon and along with the bed spread.
There were two doors across from each other. One most probably the bathroom and the other that kept her locked in this room even then Carlisia went and turned the door knob. It was after all locked.
Carlisia rushed to the window and tried to pull the metal bars on it but it didn’t work. She looked outside and saw that the room was at quite a height. She could barely make out the figures on the ground.
Carlisia went to the full length mirror attached to the closet and looked at her reflection. She looked like a wreck.
Her ankles and wrists were bruised. Her cheek was tear stained and Gabriel’s sweater, which she was wearing, also was ripped. Her head had a few blood stains along with her hair that was matted in dirt.
The thought of Gabriel made her heart beat faster. Was it true that they were meant to be or was Carson just pulling her leg?
Carlisia was brought out of her thoughts just as she heard the door knob turning and she whirled around to see the same person enter that ruined her life by giving her the letter in the parking lot days ago.
“Oh hello love. It’s really nice to see you.” He said with mockery and Carlisia staggered back.
His long white hairs were in a pony tail and his dark eyes looked vicious.
He was holding a pile of clothes which he in a swift motion set on the bed then turned to her.
“You already know what to do. I’ll come to get you in twenty minutes.” He said with authority and Carlisia nodded watching the guy leave the room. She heard the click of the lock.
Carlisia winced and staggered to the clothes grabbing the contents.
There was a towel grey v-neck full sleeve t-shirt and a pair of black yoga pants. She grabbed to examine the shirt and a pair of garments fell making her go bright red as she grabbed the blue garments from the floor.
She grabbed the stuff and went to the door which she presumed was the bathroom.
The bathroom was small and ordinary. It was completely white with a bath tub and the shower at the far corner.
There was shampoo and some toiletries already present.
Carlisia sighed as she quickly jumped into the shower after stripping out of her dirty clothes and folding them.
She didn’t want to waste time and risk anyone walking in on her. Carlisia rushed through the shower and by the end of her twenty minutes she was dressed and smelling of soap. She had untangled her hair by running her hands through them over and over again.
She clutched at the sleeves of the shirt as she sat criss crossed on the huge bed thinking of a way out. Any way out.
She wondered if people were looking for her? If Ruben and Elijah were worried for her, searching for her? But those thoughts didn’t quite set in her mind.
It was partially their fault she was going to most probably die an animals death. Most probably wont even get a decent burial. They might eat her and throw her bones to their dogs.
Carlisia’s headache returned and she grabbed her head in her hands and closed her eyes
The door opened once again and the guy walked in again.
“Where are your clothes?” He asked.
“They’re folded on the counter in the bathroom.” Carlisia whispers barely audible but to her surprise he understands her.
He grabs the stuff and looks at the guy at the doorway who Carlisia hadn’t noticed.
“What do you want me to do them Alex?” The white haired guy asks.
“Burn them. We have to loose the scent or the werewolves would find us.” He said and Carlisia eyes him.
The white haired guy nods and leaves.
The other guy called Alex looks at Carlisia as if she was candy.
“Can’t have your werewolf friends finding us now huh?” He said and Carlisia looked away. He began walking towards her. Carlisia’s heart beat quickened and she begin to slowly crawl back on the bed when suddenly he grabbed her upper arm causing Carlisia to scream and push the guy away. She staggered away from him to the other side of the bed breathing hard.
“Come on. I have to take you to the master.” He says and Carlisia doesn’t move.
Alex glares at her and then cracks his knuckles.
“Now listen here and listen good little girl. We can do this in two ways. Either you be a darling and let me escort you to your master or I could break both your arms and then drag you by your hair after having a nice meal out of you hmm?” He says and by the time he finished Carlisia was shaking.
“Now what would it be? Do you want your arms attached to your body?” He says and Carlisia nods.
“Just as I suspected. Come on right this way.” He says and Carlisia slowly walks to him and he grabs her upper arm in a tight grip dragging her out of the room and into a vast hallway with a staircase at its end.
There were huge photo frames with people wearing jewels and medieval clothing and posh poses. She barely had any time to acknowledge them properly because of the long strides the person Alex was taking.
They went down the staircase and into a vast opening. The inside of the house seemed like a castle with many rooms, hallways, antiques and mahogany furniture. It was big and posh. But what caught her attention was the door in front of them. It looked like the front door aka her way out but before she could even get a good glimpse at it she was whirled towards the right into another hallway where there was a big door. Beside the door on either sides were small tables with small delicate antiques on each pointing in the air. The tip was sharp enough to pierce skin giving Carlisia an idea in mind.
Soon they stopped in front of the door and Alex knocked. His hold on her loosened a bit and taking this as her advantage Carlisia grabbed the antique piece from the table and flung it at the persons face.
A loud wail of pain was heard from Alex as he grabbed his cheek trying to get a hold off Carlisia who began to run towards the direction of what she thought was the front door.
But as she was about to reach it a force pulled her back and before another sound left her mouth her back collided with the opposite wall.
She could feel warm liquid running down the side of her head as she shakily looked up and saw a very angry Carson staring at her angrily.
Uh Oh.
