Chapter Thirty Nine
*Michael's POV*
We had a photo shoot today. It was fun, but Ashton seemed to be really down today. I really hope what we heard isn't true.
Maisie was trying to get in touch with us again. I know it seems mean, but you don't know why.
There's a good reason to why, but I don't like being on just one side.
We all walked into the van and made out way back to our hotel room.
We made it back to our hotel room. I quickly ran and jumped onto the sofa. Man, was I tired.
I decided to find out if everything is true.
I decided to message Mai.

Heyyyyyy...are you free?

I'm not free at the moment, sorry :( why?

God, she's weird. But I don't think anything is up. Unless..unless she is hiding something.
"Who yah texting?" Luke said loudly, which made me jump.
"Woah, are you okay Mikey? Sorry for startling you." Luke laughed.
"Y-yeah... I'm alright." I said.
"So, who were you texting then?" Luke questioned.
"Mai." I said.
"Why would you talk to her, you know we can't!" Luke yelled quietly so Ashton wouldn't hear.
"I wanted to see if it's true bu-"
"You know it's true Michael..what's the point asking if she's just going to lie.. huh?" Luke said.
"How do you know?" I shot back.
"You'll see Mikey...you'll see." Luke said whilst walking off.
What does he know?
I locked my phone and placed it back in my pocket. I decided to play a few games, since we had the rest of the night off.
After a couple rounds of COD I felt my phone buzz.

Heyy, I'm free now :)
This is a good time to call her. But I should go into a room so the rest of the guys won't hear.
"Hello?" Maisie said nervously.
Already she sounds guilty.
"Let's cut to the chase...is it true?" I blurted out.
"What are you going on about?" She said.
