Full Description

Lapis lazulis are pretty common on Homeworld but what many don't know is that there are a special kind of lapis lazulis. Royal lapis lazulis. Royal lapis lazulis were meant to be a higher grade of regular lapis lazulis with stronger hydrokinesis powers and are meant to be better at terraforming than regular lapis lazulis. Not only are they better than regular lapis lazulis they can also be used as soldiers because of how strong they are. Because of this they are very rare and very hard to make, even more rare than sapphires! 

Royal lapis lazulis are different from normal lapis lazulis because royal lapis lazulis have gold marks in their gem, on their body and their eyes are a rich gold in color. Royal Lapis Lazuli, who is mainly referred to as Lazuli, was the first ever successful royal lapis lazuli made on Homeworld. Due to her rarity and advance powers Lazuli was placed in the nobility class of the caste system and given a rank on Homeworld only second to the Diamond's rank. She was treated with great respect and favored greatly by the Diamonds, especially White Diamond.

When Pink Diamond claimed Earth for her first colony and made a Human Zoo White Diamond gifted her Royal Lapis Lazuli in celebration of her taking over a planet and because Lazuli was the best terraformer on Homeworld(White Diamond knew how much Pink Diamond treasured her humans). From the moment Lazuli was gifted to the youngest Diamond they were very close and quickly became friends. Lazuli helped Pink Diamond fight in the rebellion when she posed as Rose Quartz and helped her fight against Homeworld. 

Thousands of centuries later Lazuli now lives on Earth in the US in a town called Beach City, a city by the ocean. Humanity has evolved to a point where they now have super powers they refer to as Quirks and the carreer of being a hero is a very popular one. All of the Crystal Gems are certified heroes except for two, Steven and Lazuli. Steven is going to an American school to learn how to be a hero and also being trained by the Crystal Gems mean while Lazuli simply isn't an official hero. It has been arranged for her to go to a Hero High school since she could pass as a mature looking teenager because of her appearance even though she is thousands of years old. The rest of the Crystal Gems believe it's about time Lazuli officially gets certified as a hero because she's always defending the Earth along side them but she often gets in trouble for doing hero work because she doesn't have a hero license.

The problem is the hero license exam in their country won't be for another 6 years and Lazuli refuses to wait that long! As the leader of the Crystal Gems, Garnet comes up with a solution and decides to sign Lazuli up for a hero high school since it would take less time for her to get her hero license if she's in a hero high school. But the thing is, the high school is over seas and in a completely different country; Japan which is all the way across the Pacific ocean! Not only is it in Japan it's the most prestige hero high school in the country, UA High where the acceptance rate is less than 0.2%! Despite this being so Lazuli is determined to get her hero license as soon as possible and agrees to go to Japan. Luckily because of Garnet's connections Lazuli gets to skip the UA entrance exam because she was recommended by Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl who are all top and well known heroes in America.

(A/N: The name of this book is "Royal Lapis Lazuli" as it says on the cover but wattpad is being stupid and doesn't save the full name of the book😒 for some reason. It's really annoying and I don't feel like going back every other day just to keep saving the real title. So if the title is "Royal Lapis" just know the full title is "Royal Lapis Lazuli. Also, to give everyone a heads up Lazuli is going to be on an OP level compared to the other characters because well, she's apart of a powerful, somewhat OP (in a sense) alien race but I'll try not to make her crazy OP)

(A/N 2: Quick side note! The time line of Steven Universe won't really match up with this story. So just as a heads up some major events in my story that happened in SU will ether happen early, late or will be changed somewhat but I'll try to make them over all the same. Ether that or they just won't be mentioned at all, but if it makes you happy just know they still happened! I just won't be mentioning them, sorry. But on the (somewhat) bright side I won't really be focusing on the SU time line! So hopefully that makes sense, if not then I'm sorry. But if this makes things easier for you then you can think of all the events in the story taking place after Malachite (Jasper x Lapis fusion) is defeated on Watermelon Steven Island or something like that. But if you do just know that the SU time line is basically kind of going out of the window at this point, hope you're all okay with that :)! )
