Dane's POV

Sometimes in our life, we wish something that we do. We want something that we think, it will give us happiness.

"Please Oppa! Just this once.." I looked to my brother with my puppy eyes.

We're here in the library of his Condo. We're talking about the things I really want to do.

Ako kasi yung napiling participant sa swimming contest sa babae. Si Nate naman sa lalaki. But Oppa didn't want me to join the swimming contest.

Mas pinaghusay ko pa ang pagpapa awa effect.

I know my brother too much. He can't say no to my entire request.

I try to force him now. Malay niyo payagan na niya akong maging participant ng swimming para din naman yun sa school.

"Stop pouting! I don't accept that.." He suddenly said.

"Please Oppa. Pumayag ka na.." Pagmamakaawa ko.

He looked at me so seriously that I bowed my head.

"When I said No, It's a NO.." Sagot nito.

Alam kong wala na akong dapat pang sabihin pero gusto ko talagang maging participant.

"But Oppa please-..." Hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko ng unahan niya ako.

"You don't remember because of that swimming where your asthma attack you.." Paalala niya. Natahimik naman ako.

"I also told you that you could not swim but you disobey me!" Pagalit nitong sabi sa akin.

Napaangat ako ng tingin sa kanya.

"Hah?" Takang tanong ko.

"I knew you are the one who took part in swimming in your intramurals.." Sabi nito at tinitigan ako sa mata.

Napaiwas tuloy ako sa kanya.

Alam kong hinuhuli niya ako kung magsasabi ba akong totoo sa kanya.

"How did you know?" Tanong ko nalang.

"Sir Andrew told me.." Sagot nito.

"He talked to me that you were the chosen participant in the girl swimming contest.." Sambit niya ng matahimik ako.

"What did you say?" Takang tanong ko.

"I told him to look for someone else and not you.." Sagot niya. Napasimangot tuloy ako.

"But there was no female swimmer in STU!" Naiinis kong sabi.

Tiningnan naman niya ako at napailing iling. Kinuha niya ang nakapatong na folder sa mesa at iniikot ikot na parang bola.
