(A) is a prince, and on his birthday there is a ball, all of the local noblemen and their families are in attendance, all competing with one another to get the prince to marry their daughter. But (A) decides to make an exit with (B), the son of one of the noblemen. The two agree that (A) will pretend to be infatuated with (B)'s sister so they can see each other, and the princess falls in love with (B)'s sister along the way.
