Logan is a university (or college for the Americans) student, aiming to become a MD in psychology.
His roommates are a PhD student in sociology named Virgil, and Janus, who is studying law and criminology.
Virgil and Janus see Logan as the pinnacle of professionalism. He's 1 year away from his doctorate, and they've never seen him drinking or doing drugs nor have they heard so much as heard a rumour of him being anything but a model of professional behaviour.
But one night Logan cuts loose a little, drinking with them for the first time, and they see that he has a tattoo of some text, right above the waist of his jeans. Turns out Logan is covered in tattoos, but covers them with his clothes most of the time. It's because of this that, when his roommates finally see him shirtless, they're shocked to find not only words (of varying levels of inappropriateness) but also various drawings, including a crow on his shoulder, a simple line of the moon's phases down his side, and a few arrows or dotted lines linked to some text
