Very VERY loosely based on the initial premise of the king in yellow, in the vaguest possible sense.
Logan reads a play one day as is his job as dramaturg at the local theatre, except there's something weird about it and he can't seem to put it down once he's gotten through the first act and into the second.
When he hits the third and final act he physically cannot stop himself from reading, until he is saying the lines of the majority of the cast in full, and someone in his apartment is reciting the part of the Mysterious Guest/ King character, except he can't see who it is until he finishes the play. Acting in full by the time the play ends with only one character barring the king left standing, he sees a stranger wearing the same mask as is depicted as a prop requirement in the play. He's summoned the king from the play.
