Patton is a bubbly sociology teacher, only barely able to see with one eye and his thick glasses. He's a kind man, and makes sure he does everything he can to help his students.
When a student attempts to bully him into not giving any homework or detention to the entire football team, a new teacher stands up for him, and helps Patton stand up for himself in the future. This new teacher even convinces the school to let Patton use a guide dog on the premises since he's barely able to see at all out of his better eye.
