His hands on mine spinning me around as we dance. I thought I'd never make it this far...that we would make it this far. It's weird to think about it. That he kept his promise. To me.

"I love you," He whispers in my ear as we sway back and forth. I close my eyes and soon I feel a wince from his body...or maybe it's mine?

"Maddie! Maddie wake up!" Someone shakes me as I jolt my eyes open.

"Daniel?" I run my eyes to notice the boy sitting up shirtless in bed.

"No, it's John? Who's Daniel, have you been seeing someone else, Maddie?"

I stare at the brown-eyed boy in front of me. Should I lie or tell him what actually went down a couple of years back.

"John, I-

He interrupts, "I get Maddie, I cheated on you too earlier. It's fine, I actually think I like Lucy a lot more than you. I say we both follow our dreams and go get our soulmates." John rubs my back up and down.

He cheated on me...?

"Maddie? It's okay, there's no need to cry." He wipes a tear off of my cheek.

I'm crying...?

"John I think I might-

"Maddie, Maddie," someone shakes me and I open my eyes slowly but close them again, "Hey it's me, wake up." The voice continues.

"I heard about your little blackout, but it's okay I'm here now. Haylee called me. And the boys are here too and we all want you to wake up," the male pauses, "please baby, please," I feel something wet hit my cheek.

"Just wake up, do it for me. I know, that I didn't keep my promise but can you promise me that you will wake up. Don't go for me right now, I know what you said two hours ago. I know that you still have dreams about us and I know that John definitely doesn't deserve you...and neither do I. Please," I peek a bit.

His hair is blonde? Blue eyes, still the same.

"Oh Maddie," he sighs, "you didn't miss my speech god you." He kisses my cheek and drags out fast all flushed.

I think I might be hallucinating...

There is no way this is real...

I touch the side of the bed. I grab on to Daniel's hand.

"You're here?"

DESCRIPTION

"Cheers!" Gabbiee and I hit our glasses together and the champagne fills my veins sending electricity all throughout my body. I'm so happy for her and Jack. Beyond happy.

Gabbie parts her way with me, welcoming other guest and greeting them as the sweetest bride. I turn around, my lavender color dress flowing with my body.

I connect eyes with something blue. The only blue in this room. His eyes. Still the same. I breathe and look down at my glass. I can't make the same mistake, not again.

Once I look up, there he is, even closer. "Maddie, do you want to dance?" He places his hand out.

Damn.
