Chapter 40

"Autumn put that out" I say she just smokes it so I grab it throw it on the ground and step on it.

"I think you should call your brother" I say Autumn looks a bit pissed but walks inside and texts her brother.

After about 15 minutes he's here.

"Autumn you ready" Blake asks

"Ya Bye Carson" Autumn says with a smile

"I had a great time" Autumn says

"Ya me too" I say with a smile I don't know if she meant it or was just putting on an act for her brother but whatever.

"Ok you two lovebirds break it up come on" Blake says with a laugh I give Autumn a kiss on the cheek.

Once they both leave I go to my room and text Autumn 'sorry about the way things ended I'm just not trying to fuck things up w Ethan anymore than I already have' then hit send and go to sleep.

Next morning

"CARSON GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW" Ethan yells from downstairs waking me up

I run downstairs and see an angry Ethan.

"What's up" I say

"What is this" Ethan says pointing to the living room table filled with soda cans water bottles and popcorn bowls.

"The living room table" I say smart

"I don't care if you have someone over as long as you clean up I do not like waking up to a disgusting mess first thing in the morning clean this up now" Ethan half yells

I grab the soda cans and water bottles and throw them out. I throw out the popcorn and put the bowl in the sink. Then I look back at Ethan

"Now fold the blankets and put them away" Ethan says I grab the blankets and fold them

"Thank you now was that so hard" Ethan says

"Yes it was" I say and Ethan smirks

"I'm gonna take Clooney out and then I'm gonna make some eggs" Ethan says then walks outside

"Ok" I say I sit on the couch and grab one of the blankets I just folded and put it on me then I turn on the tv.

I hear the door open again.

"See there's no point in folding the blankets if I'm just gonna use them again" I say looking at the tv

After a few seconds of Ethan not responding I look at him and he looks pissed more pissed then he did before I look to the side and he's holding the rolled up weed.

"ARE YOU MENTALLY STUPID YOU NEVER THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF WHAT YOU DO DO YOU NO YOU DON'T YOU JUST THINK YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT THIS IS ILLEGAL IF YOU DID NOT KNOW NOT TO MENTION BECAUSE YOUR 14 THIS SHIT WILL MESS WITH YOUR BRAIN BUT YOU DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT DID YOU YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT DO YOU" Ethan yells at me while walking towards me

"It's not mine I promise Ethan I-" I start to say but the words just wouldn't form

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT SHIT CARSON" Ethan yells

"I'm I'm sorry" I stutter

SLAP

A red mark starts to appear on my cheek I stand there for half a second in fear before sprinting as fast as I can to my room and locking the door.

"Carson Carson Open This Door" Ethan yells banging on my door

I have never been this scared of Ethan but then again he's never slapped me before.

I can hear Ethan walk downstairs and I hear the drawers in the kitchen being opened and slammed shut. I would assume he's looking for a key.

I hear footsteps coming closer to my room and I run and hide in my closet. Once I'm inside I lock the door and sit in the corner of my closet.

I can hear my door open and Ethan walks in.

"Carson!?!" Ethan half yells

I cover my mouth trying not to make a sound when my closet door swings open.

"Come here quit hiding" Ethan says I shake my head no and stay in the corner Ethan walks in and holds his hand out for me to grab. I just smack it away

"Carson don't make this difficult" Ethan says

I stand up and walk out of my closet and sit on my bed.

"It wasn't mine and if you would let me talk I could've explained" I say as soon as Ethan walks out of my closet

"Explain now" Ethan says sitting down on my bed I scoot away from him to the other side of my bed and I see him sigh

"What did you expect I mean you did slap me" I say with a lot of attitude Ethan sighs again

"Just explain please" Ethan says

"It wasn't mine" I say

"You need to give me something more than that" Ethan says

"my friend brought it over and when we went outside to take Clooney out she lit it and I told her to put it out and leave that's the truth" I say

"Did you try it" Ethan asks

"No I didn't" I say

"Ok I want you to know I am sorry Carson I'm sorry I yelled at you I'm sorry I didn't let you explain I'm sorry I lost my temper I'm sorry I scared you and I'm sorry I slapped you" Ethan says shit now I feel super bad

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you when it happened and I'm sorry I haven't really given you much reason to trust me or assume I wouldn't smoke" I say and then I move over and hug Ethan.

"So what are we gonna do about this" Ethan says

"If any of my friends bring drugs in the house I'll tell you so you don't think they're mine" I say

"And?" Ethan says

"And What" I ask

"And next time you'll clean up" Ethan says

"Ya probably not" I say and Ethan laughs

"I'm sorry I scared you bud I don't want you to be scared especially by me ok" Ethan says

"I know I love you" I say

"I love you too baby bro" Ethan says.
