After sitting in my car for 40 minutes I finally drive home and see Shawn sitting on his porch alone. I decided to go and talk to him since I really didn't want to speak to my friends how I broke Eli's heart tonight.

"Hey, can I join you?" He nods and moves over so I can sit on the porch swing. This moment reminds of sitting next to Lorena while we had long talks.

"How was your date?" He asked.

"Great until I ruined it." I sigh looking at my finger nails and pick at them.

"What do you mean?" He says sounding genuinely concerned.

"I told Eli I just wanted to be friends and I practically could see his heart shatter in front of me and trust me that feeling is horrible." I wished I didn't have feelings for Shawn it would make my life easier. I'd happily be with Eli but instead I'm miserable while talking to my English teacher who I could never be with.

"Talia don't beat yourself over this. Eli will move on eventually and you two will be best friends again. Just give him some space."

"Well I have to see him tomorrow he asked me to join his band before I ruined everything. Practice is tomorrow."

"You're in a band?" He says amused.

"What's so funny about me being in a band?" I say giving him a dirty look.

"Nothing just didn't expect it. What do you in this band."

"I'm going to be their lead singer." I smile.

"Will you sing for me?" He asks more serious this time.

"Not tonight Shawn," I sigh not really in a singing mood. "You know I used to play guitar a lot," he tells me and I smile.

"Really, why don't you anymore?"

"I don't know, I pick it up from time to time but I don't play like I use too."

"Will you play me something?" I pout and bat my lashes hoping he say yes.

"When you sing for me," he smirks knowing he's won. There was a silence between us and I turn towards Shawn folding one leg on the bench while the other is on the ground.

"How was your date?" I ask him.

"It was okay, when I asked her out again she told me we should stay friends since she could tell I liked someone else," he says facing my direction too.

"Really? How she know?" I ask quite curious, he did say he liked someone I just don't know who.

"Because I kept looking at her all night? She was at the game and the restaurant we ate at." Wait a minute I went to the game and saw them at the restaurant but as I recall there was a only gay couple and elderly couple there besides Eli and me. But there's no way he's talking about me maybe I missed someone or he's talking about the waitress that was there. I won't know unless I ask, I just  hope I don't embarrass myself.

"Shawn who are you talking about because I have theories and I'm—" He caught me off guard by his lips pressed against mine I was shocked for a few seconds but quickly recover and kiss him back. The kiss wasn't long but still very nice.

"Fuck I shouldn't have done that because you're my student and I could get fired," he sighs.

"Hey, hey, hey. Don't beat yourself up about it I'm not going to tell anyone." I tell him hoping he'll relax.

"Sorry I just shouldn't like as much as I do, but I couldn't hold back any longer or I'd go crazy."

"Then don't," I smirk before kissing him again this time more intense than before. I tug his hair a little causing him to moan. The gap between us is completely gone. He sadly pulls away. "Hold on let's not do this outside where everyone can see," he stops us. He's right my parents could see even though I know they're asleep considering it's almost midnight.

"Sorry I got ahead of myself," I bite my bottom lip. "I thought you didn't have a crush on me," he smirks.

"Yeah because I'd admit that in front of my teacher and he's date," I tell him with a hint of sarcasm.

"Am I the reason your not with Eli?" He asks looking into my eyes and I slightly feel intimidated.

"Sorta but I also didn't want a 'relationship' right now," I tell him honestly.

"Then what do you want?"

"I want to have some fun and nothing too serious." He nods.

"Good because I want the same" he smirks.

"So we are really doing this?" A secret relationship with my teacher I didn't even think I would really be suggesting this until now.

"Yes, but absolutely no one must no about this." He says and I agree but I could just hear Paris and Rose squealing for me right now.

"Good, here's my number we can text anytime we want to meet up. I assume you're a virgin so we will take it slow." He says putting his number in my phone. I use a guitar emoji as his name so no one can figure who he is in case they get a hold of my phone.

"Okay I should be going see ya later," I say kissing his cheek and head back to my house. It was quiet and I hear snores from my parents room as I go to my bedroom. After I take a shower and change into a big t-shirt I look out my window and see Shawn laying in his bed shirtless while reading a book. He usually doesn't have his blinds open so I never realize our bedrooms are across from each other's. I close my blinds and go to bed. I can't believe I have an inappropriate relationship with my teacher now. I mean it's only bad because he's currently my teacher, I'm eighteen so if we wanted to continue after I'm done with high school we could.

The next morning I smile when I see a text from Shawn.

🎸: Good luck at band practice 😁

Me: thanks babe

I don't really use pet names but since I'd figure it be better than me using his real name and someone finds out about us.

🎸: babe? I like that😏

Me: I bet you do

I smile shaking my head before getting dressed for band practice. I wear jean shorts and a cropped band shirt with some vans. I see Shawn outside trimming his bushes, he loves to do things himself, my parents hire someone for the yard work since they are usually too busy with work. My dad works for a firm in Seattle while my mom sells real estate. I whistle getting his attention and he turns smiling waving to him.

"See ya later!" I tell him and he winks. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get butterflies. I head over to roses house and hope that Eli and I don't make today awkward. A girl can only hope.

Keeping this one a little shorter since last one was super long. But things are going to start heating up now.

Ps. I'm watching Shawn's livestream with Verizon and he's killing it.
