Haru and Ran walked around the store, looking for outfits for both of them for the wedding. Haru had suggested gray suits or blue suits, but Ran told him that it absolutely had to be black. So there they were, browsing different types of tuxedoes, and ties.

Haru couldn't tell much of a difference between the tux's but apparently Ran could. Haru tried on different styles, showing each of them to Ran for her opinion.

"It's gotta be that one." Ran said as she looked over the tux Haru was wearing. It was a black coat with a bit of a shine to it as well as a black vest to wear underneath. The shirt was a white button up that had sleeves that poked out from the jackets. They had decided that a black tie would look best.

Haru went to the back room with the tailor so that he could be fitted. She was a nice lady, with her hair pinned up in a bun.

"So, who's the lucky lady? What's she like?" She asked as she measured from his ankle to his waist.

"Uh, actually it's a He." Haru said, fearing her reaction.

She stopped measuring for a second. "Oh, I am so sorry for assuming."

Haru assured her it was okay and she got back to her measurements. "So, what is he like?"

Haru was surprised with such a positive reaction from her and he smiled proudly as he began to talk about Makoto. "Well, he's tall. Taller than me at least. And we've been best friends since kindergarten." The lady cooed at the kindergarten detail. "I think we both kind of had crushes on each other for a while but we didn't want to ruin our friendship, so we kept quiet about it."

She nodded her head. "I see, so how did you two start dating then?"

"I got quite jealous actually. One of his friends had tried to make a move on him, which he rejected. My boyfriends name is Makoto by the way. Anyway, Makoto came home shaken up and he told me what had happened and I was furious, I was literally on my way to go beat him with a bat. But Makoto stopped me, saying that he wanted me to stay with him. That night as we laid in bed he began to drop hints and I acted on it. I began to make a move but I psyched myself out, afraid to hurt him but he just called me an idiot and then kissed me."

The lady was smiling as she placed pins in the tux. "He sounds like a lovely young man. You two are very lucky to have found each other."

"I'm sure your husband was lucky to have found you too." Haru said sincerely.

"Actually, I never married." She informed.

"Why not?" Haru asked, she was a nice lady and it was clear that she was beautiful when she was young.

"I had a similar situation to yours. My best friend was a girl, Sophia. She was from England when her family moved here and we became friends quickly as I was the one to teach her the language. We had started dating in high school and we wanted to get married, but at the time it was illegal. One night her father caught us and he forbade us ever seeing each other ever again. The last thing I heard from her was that they were moving to America so she can have a 'psyche evaluation'."

Haru didn't know what to say. He couldn't possibly imagine if he and Makoto weren't allowed to love each other. "I'm so sorry."

"Ah, it's okay. I'm happy now. I adopted a little girl and raised her all on my own and now I'm a grandma. And those kids are all I need."

The tux was to be finished in a weeks time, leaving Haru and Ran to go back home after they couldn't find a perfect dress for Ran.

When they arrived, Makoto and Ren were sat at the kitchen table looking at some simple decorations and some desserts.

Makoto noticed the other two walk in and he looked up with a smile. "Hey, how'd it go?"

"Ah, it went good except we couldn't find a dress for Ran." Haru explained.

"Well, I'm sure we'll find one soon." Makoto said before telling Ren and Ran that they were free to do whatever until dinner.

With the little ones gone, Haru moved over so that he was sitting next to Makoto. "What kind of desserts do they have?" He asked.

"Pretty much everything. I was thinking cakes of course and then maybe some mini desserts?" Makoto said as he flipped through the small catalog.

Haru leaned in kissing the top of Makoto's head. "Sounds great."

Rin walked outside, enjoying the sun shining down as he walked to his mailbox. He hadn't checked his mail in a few days so he had to carry in quite a bit of mail, most of them being bills.

He sighed as he put all of his bills in a pile and any junk in another pile. The last piece of mail however was a nice looking letter. The return address was Haru's and he carefully ripped open the envelope.

Inside was a small card with a "save the date" written in fancy calligraphy. He opened it up, reading through the letter.

Hey Rin,
Sorry this is so sudden but me and Makoto have decided to get married in two weeks time. We would love if you could be there in the front row when we wed.

Wedding: May 10th—12:00 pm
Reception: May 10th—3:00 pm-9:00 pm

Rin couldn't believe it. Of course he had figured they'd get married eventually but this was so quick. He walked over to the kitchen, placing a magnet over it as he stuck it to the fridge to remind him to RSVP later.

Haru and Makoto lied down in bed, holding each other close, just like every other night. Their window was open, letting in fresh air and a cool breeze along with the peaceful sound of birds and crickets.

Makoto was still awake as Haru slept soundly. He was able to smile as Haru's facial expressions changed and he murmured things under his breath as he dreamed.

Makoto snorted as Haru muttered out some nonsense about how the penguins are stealing all of his mackerel.
