Rei and Nagisa were currently sitting on the floor next to the fireplace at Rei's house. They had invited Makoto and Haru over for a friends Christmas.

Rei's living room was decorated for the season nicely. A Christmas tree was placed in a corner and a few perfectly wrapped gifts were placed under the evergreen.

"Alright, so who wants to go first?" Rei asked the group. All of the boys had bought gifts to exchange and Nagisa was excited to give his gifts out.

Nagisa crawled on his hands and knees to the Christmas tree and received three gifts, one for each of the boys.

Rei was torn because he didn't like the idea of ripping up the perfectly wrapped gift, but he opened the gift nonetheless.

Rei smiled as he proudly held up the new goggles he had been gifted.
"Thanks, Nagisa." Rei said as he wrapped an arm around his boyfriend to hug him. Nagisa let a small giggle escape and urged Makoto and Haru to open their gifts.

Makoto had received a cook book, a small note was written on the back of the cover page.

Some recipes for when Haru-Chan refuses to eat anything other than mackerel!
-Love Nagisa

Makoto let a small chuckle escape his lips before he gave Nagisa a hug.

"How did you know?" Haru asked. The boys looked up and over to Haru who was holding up a pair of swim trunks that were nearly identical to his other 5 pairs.

All of them laughed and left Haru in an oblivious state of mind.

After the boys had spent a few hours together, they all bid their farewells and continued on with the rest of the day.

Makoto and Haru went back home because they didn't want to leave Ren and Ran home alone too long.
When they got there, they were surprised to see a familiar red haired boy sitting on the porch.

"Rin?" Haru called out.
The boy lifted his head up to Haru and Makoto's direction. He stood up and walked over to the two boys walking up the driveway.

"Hey guys, merry Christmas!" Rin smiled brightly.

Haru and Makoto didn't waste much time before they return the hug that Rin started to initiate.

"What are you doing here?" Haru asked.

"Well, I wanted to see my friends on Christmas." Rin said casually.

Makoto smiled and led Rin up to the house.

"I actually can't stay, I just wanted to stop by and to give you this." Rin explained as he held out his hand, if held an envelope that looked like it could burst any second.

"Oh, umm thank you." Makoto took the envelope and awkwardly smiled.

"Alright, well I've got to go. I promised Gou that I would meet her for dinner." Rin started to walk away from the two boys. He turned around for a second and called over his back, "I'll try to see you guys again soon!"

Makoto and Haru agreed before they went into the house.

Haru and Makoto informed Ren and Ran that they were home and Haru walked upstairs to his room. He was tired of interacting with so many people.

"Come on Haru, it was like 4 people."
"That's 4 more people than usual." Haru argued with the voice in his head.

A knock was heard on his door and Makoto let himself in.
He sat on the bed next to Haru and sighed before he too decided to lay down beside him.

"You okay?" Makoto spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence that was engulfing them.

"Yeah, I'm just kind of tired." Haru replied.

"Sorry to hear that, anything I can do to help?"

"Just lay here with me."

And so he did.

Makoto turned to his side and wrapped an arm around Haru's slightly smaller body. Haru's body was warm pressed against him and he sighed in contentment.

Haru turned to face Makoto and draped his arm over his body and buried his face into Makoto's chest. Makoto was softly twirling Haru's hair and Haru could feel himself starting to fall asleep.

Makoto woke up to Ran gently shoving his shoulder.
"Oh, hey Ran I'm sorry I dozed off." Makoto explained.

"Are you going to stay up and wait for Santa with me?" Ran whispered.

Makoto let himself smile and he nodded his head before untangling himself from Haru's limbs. Ran held his arm as they walked down the stairs to sit in the living room.

"I already put the milk and cookies out." Ren said proudly as he pointed at the plate on the table.

"Good, now he won't get hungry." Makoto praised.

Ran, Ren, and Makoto sat down on the couch with a big croquet blanket covering them.

Ran yawned and he rubbed her eyes. "Mako niisan..." She mumbled.

Makoto quietly laughed, this happens every year. "Yes?"

"I-I think I'm going to let Santa do his job without interruptions...."
"Me too." Ren agreed.

Makoto hugged his siblings and gave them a kiss on the head before walking them back upstairs and putting them to bed.

"Sweet dreams." He said to Ren and Ran as he closed each of their doors, keeping Ren's open just a crack.

Makoto walked back and shook Haru awake.
"Hey, they're asleep. We can put the gifts under the tree now."

Haru groggily sat up and nodded.

Makoto and Haru placed each gift under the tree and ate the cookies and drank the milk, so the kids know that Santa wasn't hungry.

After an hour or so, the boys walked hand in hand back up to Haru's room and climbed into bed.

"Hey Makoto?" Haru spoke up.
"Yeah?"
"That nap was a bad idea...I'm not tired anymore." Haru whined.
"Anything you want to do to pass the time?" Makoto asked innocently.
