When me and dad get back everyone is glad that we are safe and that we brought lots of medicine and extra food for the community except for one person

Why isn't he happy that we are back. Is is because we didn't bring enough food or something
"Hey Carl what's wrong" i asked and then he took my hand and led me to his house
"Why didn't you tell me you were going on a run" he said angry
"I didn't think you would need to know I mean we just met and all and I thought you probably wouldn't of cared" I said sadly because I had a small crush on him
"I don't care if you didn't think I wouldn't care because I did I've been worried since you've been gone thinking that you were lost and..." he said looking like he was about to cry so I gave him a hug
"Hey look I'm fine no scratches... Well I might have a few but I mean I'm back here and safe" i said laughing and he let out a little laugh then pulled away and looked into my eyes
"Y/n" he said getting closer
But then Rick and my dad came in talking about what happened out there and then they look our way
"Did we interrupt something" Rick says with a small smirk on his face and my dad doing the same thing
"No" I said
"Yes" Carl said and I just blush
Omg does he like me. No way he doesn't like me he likes Enid right
"Were is Enid" I asked
"Ohhhhh ummmm" Carl said then he told me what happened and what they did and I was just left shocked with my jaw on the ground
