Y/n POV

I suddenly woke up and heard a scream
what the crap can't we get a little peace for like a day. I thought sighing
"Sunshine" dad came into my room with a worried look and he looked around to make sure I was ok "I thought something got you"

"No that wasn't me" I said
"We should go and see what that was" he said
"Yeah"

We went out the front door and went down the road to see a group of walkers I guess eating whoever screamed. Then dad took my hand and we hid behind a car
"We need to get out of here and to our bikes" he said looking around the car to watch the walkers
"Ok then let's go, they are occupied right now so why don't we go" I said
"Because even if we did go they would here our motorcycles and follow us" he said still looking

"I have an idea" I said while smiling
I told dad my plan and I see him think about it and he finally nodded his head to go on with the idea

Time skip

I was behind a house a little ways from the group and my plan is ready and set.

So my plan you might be wondering welllllll.......
It involves fireworks and lots of commotion. So I found some fireworks and flare guns in a house so that should be fine

I go out to the field and set the firework on fire then run because I don't want to get blasted from it cause I mean those things scare me literally before the world came to this hell. I got hit by this huge firework and I had burn marks ugghh I need to stop thinking about that

Ok so the firework went off and about five minutes I hear moans and groans and I know that I did a good job with this so now I take the flare gun and start shooting towards the woods and that worked pretty good cause most of them went towards the woods

So when I was done I ran back to dad and he gave me a high five "nice job sunshine" he said smiling and hugging me
"I know I'm amazing" I said flipping my hair over my shoulder and laughing
Me and dad walk back to our bikes and during that walk I jumped on dads back and he is surprisingly really strong but as soon as we got there he dropped me

"Owww that hurt what the crap dad" I got up and punched him and he just laughed

"Let's go home sunshine" he said and we got on our bikes and rode back to Alexandrea
