"You guys are so gross. What were you doing in the closet?" My brother nags us as we walk down the stairs, my eyes rolling as we go.

"Don't worry about it, dude." Winter speaks lowly, feigning a suspicious tone before winking at me.

I glare at him but can't help but smile at his behavior. "Nothing happened." I tell the both of them.

"Really?" Winter fakes disappointment. "You think that was nothing?"

"What is he speaking of?" Dakota snaps, pointing a finger at me as I run to the living room to get away from him.

"Oh my gosh! Nothing happened." I say again.

My twin brother looks between a smirking Winter and my calm expression before taking a seat next to me. "Just tell me the truth. I can handle it."

Winter cocks a brow at me. "Do you think he can handle it?" He asks me dramatically with crossed arms.

I give him an annoyed look but I play along nonetheless. "I think he can."

"Handle what? Ah! The suspense is killing me." He bounces next to me with anticipation. "Please tell me you kept it PG." He sighs.

Winter's expression remains unwavering.

"PG13?" Dakota mumbles in disgust, looking over at me. I force myself to keep a serious exterior. "Rated R!?" He pulls at his hair. "Please tell me no!"

Winter breaks, his laughter spilling over in a series of red faced chuckles. "Nothing happened, we're just joshing you."

"Joshing?" Dakota narrows his eyes.

Winter sighs. "We're just kidding."

"Ahh." He replies before taking on an angry expression. "You two are awful. So it was rated G after all?"

Winter pauses, looking at me with a secretive smile. "I'd say it hits the PG mark."

"Definitely." I smile.

Dakota remains silent and I can feel him looking between the two of us as if we're an enigma he's deciphering. "Something did happen? What was it? Did you find his mistletoe or something." He snorts as if this is preposterous.

Winter and I don't say anything, my cheeks growing warm even though I know there was nothing I had to hide.

"Oh my gosh..." he mumbles, "You did, didn't you?"
