That's where your love for each other blossomed into a beautiful flower. Looking back on that day, you are so grateful you actually woke up late and are happy that the bus ride was especially bumpy that day because it all lead you to him.
Your new found love.
It all started on the first day of spring when you were on your way to meet your best friend, Hongjoong. He said he had a surprise for you and couldn't wait til your friend-anniversary to tell you. You were excited as he rarely did things such as surprises often. So you made you way to the cafe, first having to catch the bus.
As you were walking you noticed you were running a bit late and started to run before the bus left you. Luckily enough, someone on the bus was kind enough to ask the bus driver to stop for you. If it wasn't for them you would've had to wait another hour for another bus.
You got onto the bus, hoping there would be a place to sit, but as usual, there was none. So you were left to stand up and have the shaky bus rock you back and forth. Side to side. You held onto the bar above your head hoping it would hold you in place. Sadly, that did not work. As the bus turned a sharp corner, your body was thrown to the other side of the bus and into the arms of a man. You were flustered at first with your heart pounding hard. You thought you were about to die in that moment.
"I'm sorry" you said and bowed to the boy who caught you. You got a good look at him and was amazed at how beautiful he looked. You couldn't help but stare at his godly looks as you stood up straight. Even when you bent down to pick up your purse, you couldn't help but stare. "Are you okay?" he asked. You nodded your head assuring him you were alright. He stared deeply into your eyes as well. "That's good" he said with a smile that made your heart flutter like never before. Wow this boy did things to you that you hadn't felt in years.
You felt as though you were already in love.
You two continued to stare at each other until the bus came to a complete stop a few seconds later.
"Thank you.." you said softly to the boy. He just smiled in return making a smile break it's way onto your face. You finally heard the bus' doors close and snapped out of his spell he put you under. "Wait- ajusshi- I'm getting off here!" you yelled at the driver before gathering your things. He opened the doors once again and you ran out. You looked back at the bus before it pulled off, hoping to get a glimpse of that boy again.
And you did. You saw he was staring right back at you with a bright smile.
After the bus left you took off to the cafe and met up with Hongjoong. The two of you talked and ate your favorite pastries from there. The news he had to tell you was big. He was gonna propose to his girlfriend. You were so happy for him and even agreed to help him with the surprise.
