Hospital

"Isn't she just adorable?" I asked my twin brother Joe, as I held a baby. I always go to the community hospitals and hold the babies that don't have a family.

"She really is." He smiled, as the nurse handed him a baby girl to hold.

These was one of the bounding events that me and Joe did together.

"Doesn't this make you want to have kids?" I loved up at Joe.

"It does." He was smiling like I never seen him do before. "I really hope Angelia gets pregnant."

"I hope so to." I kissed the baby on the head.

I've been here at the hospital since I was 18 always being cheered up by the babies, since I wasn't always happy in life.

"What about you?" He sat down in the chair next to me holding the baby girl in his hands.

"Yeah, I do. I want kids, but you know me I don't have a man I'm single." I chuckled. "These baby are so cute, they make me get up every morning and wanna live they give me hope."

"I'm glad something gives you hope."

"Me too." I smiled, and rocked the baby back and forth slowly. "I hope someone adopts them, I don't want kids to be alone growing up."

"Me either, me either." He said.

"Maybe I can adopted a kid one day."

"Yeah..maybe."

"The baby is fine." Brandon said as he sat down on the hospital bed.

"Thank god."

"What were you thinking?" He asked as he placed his hand on my cheek.

"I wasn't thinking, I never do. I just didn't want innocence people to die."

"I could have lost you and the baby, our baby!" He started to get loud.

When he gets loud he gets angry.

When he gets angry it's never good.

When he yells I start to cry and I can't help it.

I'm just an emotional person.

Tears ran down my face.

"Love." He sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell."

"I know you didn't. I just can't help it."

I wiped my tears but I still sobbed.

"No its okay baby your aloud to cry okay?" He asked softly.

I nodded.

"Okay."

"Here let me show you something alright?"

"Yeah." He helped me up, and helped me into the wheel chair, he placed my feet on the feet holders.

He opened the door and wheeled me.

"Where are we going?" I asked curious.

"You'll see." He continued wheeling me, his phone rang and he stoped.

He picked it up, and was talking.

"Yeah I'll put her on." He handed me the phone. "It's for you."

"Katelyn?! Honey are you okay?!" My father asked.

"Yes, I'm okay dad." I forced a smile but he couldn't see it.

"I'm coming over I'm on my way!"

"No-no Dad. It's fine, stay at work I'm fine I promise."

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes dad, I'm sure. I have Brandon here."

"Alright, I love you sweetie."

"I love you to daddy." I hung up the phone and handed it back to Brandon.

Brandon stoped the wheelchair in front of the window. I got up carefully and looked.

I covered my mouth. "Oh my, how did you know."

"A little someone told me."

I haven't been here since Joe passed away.

"Can we go in?"

"Sure we can."

He put his arm around my waist to help me balance. We walked in together.

"Katelyn it's good to see you back." The nurse my favorite nurse smiled.

"Hi Nurse Judie."

She smiled and handed me a baby, I carefully held it as I sat down.

"She's so beautiful."

"She really is." Brandon said.

"Are these all the babies that don't have a home?"

"Unfortunately." Judie said. "Would you like to hold one?" She asked Brandon, and his faced lit up.

"Yes please." She handed Brandon a baby boy to hold.

The newborn baby told his small hand and grabbed for Brandon's hand.

Aw my heart just melted inside.

"Are you expecting a baby?" Judie asked me as she looked at my stomach.

"Yes I am."

"Is this your lucky man?" She pointed to Brandon.

"Yeah is he."

"Congratulations." She smiled. "I always remember how'd you would come in no matter what time it was and you would always hold each and everyone of the babies spending your time here."

"Yeah." I giggled. "I always will, these babies deserve a home."

"Yeah they do." Judie said.

I held the baby girl close to me, her little mouth yawned, I rocked her slowly.

"Your so adorable." I whispered as I kissed her head.
