Millies POV- two months later

Today is the wrap party for stranger things three. I'm sad to say bye to everyone since my plane leaves first thing in the morning, but I'm also pretty excited to go to Hawaii.

I really need a break anyway.

Finn & i haven't really talked ever since the breakup. It feels weird to not talk to him, he was my best friend.

I sighed, packing up the rest of my stuff, and setting it aside. I got up, putting my jean jacket on, as i walked out of my room, walking downstairs.

I walked in, seeing Sadie with Gaten, as she smiled, giving me a hug. "Hey Millie." She smiled, pulling away.

"Hey Sade's." I gave a small smile, waving.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine." I smiled lightly, as she nodded, giving a soft smile. Her & Noah are the only ones who know what happened between Finn and i.

Everyone came in, interacting with each other, while i talked with Sadie, drinking some soda. I turned around, seeing Finn, until our eyes met.

We stared at each other awkwardly, as i quickly turned around, stopping the awkward eye contact. I looked down, staring at my drink.

"Hey I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I mumbled, getting up from my seat, walking off, as i sighed, walking out.

I walked outside, walking back and forth. This is gonna be harder than i thought. I sat down on a bench, sighing, giving myself a few minutes.

"Millie?" Sadie walked out, making me look up.

"Let's go play, you're on my team." She smiled, as i nodded, getting up, as she pulled me back inside.

I guess I've gotta get him off my mind.

"Bye guys, I'm gonna miss y'all." I smiled, giving everyone a hug, as Sadie cried.

"Sade's, don't cry." I gave a sad look, as she gave me another hug. I held in my tears, saying bye to everyone. Finn left a while ago, i guess he didn't wanna say bye.

I stayed for a while longer, saying my last goodbyes since i won't see them for a while.

I came home, walking in, as i sighed, setting my stuff down. I walked to my room, putting my phone on the charger & making sure i had everything.

I put on my pajamas, deciding to get some sleep since i have to get up early. I got in bed, getting comfy, until i heard a knock on my door.

I groaned, getting out of bed, & walked to my door, opening it.

"What"— i paused, seeing Finn at my doorway, as i furrowed my eyebrows, giving a confused look.

"Hey Mills."

"Hey?"

"Can we talk?" He gave a look, as i sighed, crossing my arms.

"Well... talk." I mumbled, as he sighed, looking down.

"I came to say good bye, and that I'm sorry." He gave a sad look, making me nod slowly.

"Is that all?"

"Mills, i didn't mean to hurt you, i promise"—

"Well you did." I snapped, as tears burned in my eyes. "And... don't call me that anymore." I mumbled, as he sighed, nodding slowly.

"Well i guess that's it then." He mumbled, looking down.

"Mkay, bye." I was about to close the door until he stopped it with his hand.

"What do you want"— i felt his lips crash into mine, as i furrowed my eyebrows, pushing him off of me.

"No, that's not fair."

"Millie"—

"No, you think you can just walk back in here, make up excuses and kiss me?! Well you can't!"

"I know but"—

"No, get out, i hate you." I gave a hurt look, making him give me a sad look.

"Mills i still love you."

"If you loved me then you wouldn't had left me for no damn reason Finn."

"I'm sorry, it was a mistake, please Mills." He gave a sad look, making me look down.

"No, you said it yourself, we're not ever gonna see each other"—

"We can make it work."

"Then why didn't you say that before you dumped me?" I gave a hurt look, making him sigh.

"I'm sorry." He said in a soft voice, as i sighed, wiping my tear from my cheek.

I looked up, seeing him give a sad look, as i cried, hugging him tightly. "Please don't ever ever do that again." I cried, as he sighed, nodding his head.

I stood there, hugging him tightly, as he sighed, running his fingers through my hair. "Do you wanna lay down?" He pulled away, as i nodded my head sniffling.

We walked to my room, laying down in bed, as i sniffled, burying my face in his chest. He ran his fingers through my hair, as i closed my eyes, hugging him.

I sighed, grabbing my suitcase, getting up from my seat. "That's my call." I mumbled, as Finn nodded, getting up.

"I'll be back soon." I gave a sad look, as he nodded, grabbing my hand.

"I'll be waiting." He gave a small smile, as i nodded, kissing his cheek softly.

"Mills?"

"Yeah?"

"What are we?" He asked, making me sigh.

"I guess we'll figure that out when i come back." I gave a soft smile, as he nodded, smiling lightly.

I heard them call for my plane, as i sighed, giving Finn a hug. "I'm gonna miss you Mills." He whispered, hugging me tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you too." I sniffled, pulling away.

He wiped my tear, kissing me softly, as i sighed, pulling myself together.

"I love you." He gave a sad look, as i smiled lightly.

"I love you too." I let go of his hand, grabbing my stuff. I sniffled, as he waved, smiling lightly, as i waved, walking off.

I cried on my way to the plane, wiping my tears.

This is gonna be a long wait.
