The food was amazing. I kept catching Jax in the corner of my eye staring at me,this made me really nervous but the way he looked down at me, made my heart skip a beat
"Now,now"dad spoke standing up in his chair, this dinner was quite weird considering he had his eyes on Jax and I all throughout the dinner "We have gathered ourselves today to solve problems, we are a family, not by blood but we all share things in common"
He cleared his throat and started pacing around the table at a slow pace " I want to grow my family, as you know my daughter,Mia she's on the verge of becoming 19, I'd like her to settle down but not by any man"he snapped my heart was beating so fast I didn't know what to do or where to look
I looked up at him to see his eyes following my dads footsteps around the table
This was dangerous, one bad move death at our door step
"one of the men right here will be her partner and if everything turns out, just as I hope it will be Her Husband"

"Dray sit down" Grayson stood up next to Dray
"Boys sit now"my father nodded "As I have discussed with Jackson, he will take her in returning some stock" he grinned "
Mason and Grayson knew the plan Dray didn't dad knew he wouldn't go along with it, it was hard to convince Grayson to let me go
"You giving her away for stocks,your own daughter, you blood" Dray spat
"Mason, Greyson get him out of here" he nodded the boys did just that
Dad sat beck at the top of the table and rose his glass "To the start of something great" he eyed me

When I got up after everyone was in the sitting room discussing issues,I went out to the balcony and sat staring out at the stars,I always did this, this was my comfort on a rainy day
"You know I'm not exactly ok with letting you do this" Dray said coming out
" I know your not but it's time I grow up, I've got to do it for our family"
" You could be gone for months Mia, these missions are rare and take Time, he's not a good man Mia" He was basically begging me not to do it " I've agreed to late now"I looked at him "I'll be ok"
"Promise me when you can try reach out to me, just so I know your safe, it'll give me peace of mind" he said holding my hand
"I promise Dray" I smiled " I'll be back in no time sneaking out causing you to go mad" he chuckled
"I'm gonna miss you Mia" We sat there for awhile talking about us as kids and messing around sneering each other, until we decided to go back in
Families were starting to leave, we greeted them goodbye. Then he was leaving
The man I was going to live with and then kill
"I'll pick her up tomorrow at 2, like we discussed" he shook my dads hand and then left
