"Taka...psssttt, Taka."

"(Y/N) pay attention. We're in the middle of a lesson."

"But it's snowing."

It was a boring November day, and you were stuck inside. You sat behind your school desk, trying to make sense of the lesson in front of you. However, you couldn't seem to stay focused. It was just so...boring.

Yet, something big had happened to pull you away from your studies: snow. Whether it had been fate that you had found yourself sitting next to the window, you didn't know, but you could not contain your excitement for very longer.

Biting your bottom lip, you neglected your lesson, staring out of the window. Your face lit up in glee at the sight of snow flying through the air. You smiled in joy, leg bouncing up and down in uncontainable excitement.

This was big. It was the first real snowfall of the year. Sure, you had seen it snow once or twice already, but this was big. The snow fell rapidly, already having a thin white sheet spread across the ground. You were just waiting for it to pile up some more.

"Taka!" You whisper-shouted, turning to look at your best friend with a large smile on your face. "It's snowing!"

Kiyotaka Ishimaru, to be sure. You were very fond of the diligent student. Hell, he was your best friend. Sure, you could be a little reckless and unorganized at times, but he always knew how to get you back on track.

He quickly scribbled down the notes on the board before turning to look at you. "(Y/N), we are in the middle of a lesson. What is so important-"

"It's snowing."

The black-haired male looked out the window, eyes filled with such wonder and amazement. Sure enough, it was snowing, and it was coming down fast. But, school came first, and there would certainly be enough time to play in the snow later.

"Get back to the lesson, (Y/N)," he whispered to you, a small smile on his face. "We'll play in the snow after class. I promise."

You had tried so hard to pay attention to the lesson. You even went as far as to turn your desk sway from the window. However, the snow was calling to you, and you couldn't resist.

"(Y/N), would you please mind repeating what I just said?" Your teacher questioned, drawing your attention.

"H-Huh?" Your face quickly heated up in embarrassment, and you stuttered, racking your brain for what she had just said. "I...um..."

Your teacher shook her head before pinching the bridge of her nose in disappointment. "Now, what has gotten you so distracted."

A sheepish smile crawled into your face. "It's snowing."

* * *

The promise of a prominent snowfall had caused everyone to be on the edge of their seats. Everyone was happily chatting away, excited for the chance to run outside in the snow. The teachers had long given up on trying to teach their lessons, and even the ever-hardworking Kiyotaka Ishimaru was slack on enforcing the rules.

You tapped your pencil against your desk, leg bouncing up and down in anticipation. The end of the day had approached, and you were in your last class, longing to get outside to embrace the fluffy white snow. However, your last teacher of the day had different plans, assigning everyone a worksheet

No one even made an attempt to start the worksheet, merely pretending to write down answers. Neglecting their work, the 78th class watched the clock, counting down the minutes until school was finally over.

"Come on, come on," you muttered, eyes glued on the clock. Once it got down to the last minute of class, you just couldn't hold it back anymore.

"I can't take it anymore!" You screamed, gaining your classmate's attention. "Hurry the fuck up, clock!"

"Foul language is not accepted in a school env-"

"CAN IT, TAKA!" You hissed before chucking a pencil at the clock. The bell rang just as your pencil hit its surface.

"Yes!" You screamed in victory, sprinting outside. "It's fucking snowing! Fuck yeah, bitch!"

You were in and out of your locker in a flash, hat and coat on, bag slung over your shoulder precariously. You sprinted outside, squealing in glee as a snowy white landscape greeted you. Your eyes sparkled in joy, and you threw your belongings to the side, diving in the snow.

It appeared your classmates had the same idea as they were hot on your tail. They sprinted out of the school, headed to play in the snow as well. Snow angels were formed, snowmen were being built, and all-around fun was to be had.

Sighing in content, you laid down in the snow, making a snow angel. Suddenly, a pair of red eyes were peering down at your form. Chuckling, you grabbed their wrist, pulling them down to the ground beside you.

"Hi Taka," you murmured, a large smile on your face. You pecked his cheek, and he became quite flustered. You giggled at his reaction.

You closed your eyes, feeling utterly content in that moment. "I love the snow."

We finally got our first big snowfall here, so this was heavily inspired by that. I was in math when it happened, and my math teacher literally let us sit in front of the window the entire hour. It was great.

Also, I was looking at the demographics for this, and I've got readers from the UK and Australia? Well, shout out to you guys, you cool people!
