Chapter 1

Nicki Minaj POV

My body is so beat after a long six hours of life wit' August, and quiet frankly I am tired. We lay onna floor 'cause that's where we ended up afterwards. August pulls the sheets from off of his bed and stretch it across on us. Yeah, I am kinda cold tho' but the extreme heat keeps remindin' me I ain't so cold. Really, I don't want this day to ever end, I wanna lay here for a while.

Being wit' August makes things seem like an escape, like all my problems don' went away. He so calm and cool and shit, ion why he doubt himself to be wit' me.

He kisses me on my forehead while I snuggle in his arms, layin' on his chest for a brick. My ear pressim' against his tattooed chest, listenin' to his heart beatin' hard and fast. Even tho' we done had sex and he prolly still horny or whatnot, buy to me is totally different. It's me hearin' his love that beats for me and me only - somethin' I never got from Safaree. 'Cause Safaree bitch ass been too busy dippin' and swervin' wit' other bitches.

My thick left leg is thrown across August's lower body, his hand grasps then rubs slow on it. His other hand is on my revealin' caramel back while my hands slides on his arms and chest. Neither of us speak once, guessin' we ain't got much to say, or whatever. We just quiet.  Layin' and lookin' up at the ceilin', well we both did have a couple of smokes.

Of course August blows some up inna air, I just look at 'em spread out then fade away. This kinda reminds me of Safaree and I, we were just like smoke. We were once together before we split apart like that in thin air. Ion what happen to the spark we once had wit' each other, but, that shit don' died. Gon' wit' the wind as we weren't nothin' to begin wit' - that's how me and August made it.

It's yet to be confirmed by me and August 'cause we ain't really talk, we just had sex.

August inhales, then exhale. "Nicki," he pauses.

"Yes babe?" I say calmly. Still lookin' up at the ceilin' like August is.

"What are we doin'?" August asks me, pullin' me close in his arms. I snuggle up some mo'.

"Each other, apparently ," I say when I hear August laughin'. I look up at him to see him frown.

"Funny, but fo' real tho'." August says, tryna make a straight face. Soon, he busts out laughin' anyway. 

"Clever comeback." He adds.

"I know, I know. I needa ask you somethin'  tho'." I said.

August Alsina POV

"I know, I know. I needa ask you somethin'  tho'."

Awww shit! Nicki ain't even wait a while to start askin' questions, and now she gotta ask me somethin'. I hope it ain't nothin' serious like us gettin' into a relationship 'cause I ain't up fo' nothin' serious. Don't gemme wrong, I care 'bout Nicki, but I don't wanna get all caught up in that. I don't see myself gettin' into nothin' so serious at my age, I just wanna hit and that's it. No love 'cause that shit will fuck 'round and gemme caught up in shit I know I ain't ready fo'.

"What'chu needa ask?" I ask her, kissin' her onna forehead.

"Can I stay wit' you? Stay here fo' the night? 'Cause I just wanna get outta house." Nicki says, her body shakes a lil' bit. Why she wanna stay out her own house?

"Sure, I mean that's if you wanna stay..." Nicki cuts me off.

"Good, good. Good!" She says wit' excitment.

"Damn! I know a nigga fine and all that but you gettin' clingy already babe." I said, jokin' wit' her.

"Whatever August. I just wanna stay her fo' the night." Nicki said.

"Why you don't wanna go home?" I ask her.

"I... I just wanna be wit' you." Nicki said to me.

"Ard then." I said, rollin' over on top of Nicki.

"Since you gon' be here... Get ready fo' round...." I pause, tryna think of how many rounds we went. I remember.

"Ten?" Nicki says, well askin'.

I look at her in shock. "No twelve girl."

"Ooh," she says cooly.

"Yeah," I said noddin' my head, mockin her.

"And just fo' that I ain't givin' you no mercy." I laugh when she giggles.

"Oh really?!" Nicki says, blushin'.

"Yup! You boutta get whipped into shape." I said to Nicki.
