I seriously doubt it's in the mansion. The Effiel Tower is so far away from the lair but really close to the mansion. It doesn't make sense.
Just because the animation goes down to show the tomb, doesn't mean it's in the mansion. It could just mean the tomb, as it's called, is underground. Or maybe they tomb is under the mansion but the lair just has a matching window.
