JJs POV
"Agent Jareau." I said answering my phone trying not to sound tired
"JJ its Tyler. Char hasnt come home yet." He said sounding panic
"What do you mean? Its one in the morning how is she not home?" I asked sitting up
"As in she went out with friend from work for dinner and she hasnt not returned yet." He said again making me now realize the problem
"Who was it?" I asked wanting to know what friends
"Carter and Skylar." He said as I whispered shit
"I know and I know what their addictions were. She could be on her way to the hospital or worse dead on the street." He said hitting his breaking point
"Ok lets not think that way. She is smarter then she looks sometimes." I said getting out of bed and putting leggings on
"I will come over." I said walking into my living room seeing my mom wide awake talking with Matt
"No I will call in an hour." He said hanging up
"Why are you two up?" I asked looking at them
"We both fucked up." Matt said as I groaned sitting down in a chair
"What make you think that?" I asked wanting to see where this goes
"Is Charlotte really doing better?" Mom asked and I nodded yes
"Please tell me how." She said
"Well, we run a mile every morning before I go to work and she works almost everyday. She works at a coffee shop with other people around her age fighting addiction too. She has not seen with help yet but Im not pushing her to until she is ready. She has not used for two almost three weeks. Its hard but shes really showing improvement." I said smiling at how far we have come
"What about the guy?" Matt asked sounding protective
"I really like him. He is really good for her." I said looking at him questionably
"Has he seen her high?" He asked and I nodded
"She threw a book at him when she was upset. But she loves him and he loves her I can see it in their eyes." I said smiling
"I feel bad because she wants us both out of her life." Mom said sniffling
"Because you two broke her. I had to pick her up at a police station because she was fighting with a police officer. She was so broken it hurt. I now am seeing the clarity in her eyes from being free from drugs. She becoming the old Charlie again." I said as my phone rang
"Hey Tyler." I said answering
"Shes home. I just put her to bed. Came home drunk out of her mind." He said taking a deep relieved breath
"Do you need me to come over? Did she use?" I asked hoping it would both would be a no
"Shes drunk. Ya she said she didnt use." He said making me relieved now
"She is still awake. I dont know for how much longer. Just come over in the morning." He said before we hung up
"Who was that?" Mom asked
"Tyler. Charlotte came home drunk from being out with friends but she didnt use so I will take it." I sighed
"Do you think we made her?" Matt asked
"Its a possibility. Thats how she handles things is to mess up her life. She knows you see her as a failure and was giving up before I stepped in." I said standing up before leaving them alone

Charlottes POV
"Wake up." Someone yelled before ice cold water was dumped on me
"What the hell!" I yelled seeing it was JJ holding the bucket
"What the hell? You have the nerve to yell that at me after last night." She said standing there with her arms crossed
"Wheres Tyler?" I asked not seeing it
"The living room. What made you drink last night?" She asked as I got out of bed to change into dry clothes
"I was brought into it. I wasnt going to but my friends talked me into in. I didnt use though I just drank." I said as she turned around to give me privacy
"But you bought drugs right?" She asked sounding upset
"Yes but I didnt use them. I flushed it and came right home." I said seeing her face soften
"You can test me. I promise I didnt use. Everyone else did but I didnt. Im really trying with the drugs. I thought I would be stronger then the alcohol but I wasnt." I said sitting on the bed
"Tyler and I were worried about you last night." She said as I started to cry
"I know you two were. I messed up Im sorry." I said as she sighed and sat next to me
"I know you are." She said pulling me into her side
