Chapter 5

I finally was going back out and getting back into my old self.
"You ready?" Abby said poking her head into my room
"Yes." I said checking my outfit over one last time
"For good measures." She said holding up the baggie holding the fine white powder I havent used in two months
"Line it up." I said with a smile

Three hours later I was dancing on top of the bar with Abby and Peyton.
"Ive missed this so much!" I yelled over the music
"We have missed you Char!" They yelled back
We continued dancing until the bartender kicked us off
"Guys its about to close lets go to the compound." Maddy suggested as we all agreed before stumbling into an Uber
We arrive at the compound bringing back all the memories I had with Chase.
"Forget him. Drew has a hook up for us." Abby said dragging me in
"Is Mike here?" I asked knowing who I was going to take home with me tonight
"He should be. I thought I saw his bike outside." She said as we walked into the weed smoked filled bar

"Lets go back to my place." I slurred into Mikes ear as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to his bike
"Damn Chase was and idiot for letting you go." Mike said as he pushed me up against the wall next to my front door
"Dont talk about him." I said as he forcefully kissed me
I struggled getting the door open and once it was it crashed and we were stumbling in and racing to get each other clothes off
I pulled back to take his shirt off when he froze
"Whats wrong?" I asked kissing his jaw trying to get him to continue on
"Someone is in your apartment." He said reaching for the gun he had tucked into the back of his jeans when a light turned on
"JJ what the hell!" I yelled covering my front up and lowering Mikes gun that was pointed at her
"Put it down grab you clothes and get out." She said calmly and he listened
"Mike just wait we can finish this once I get her out." I purred before he left
"Maybe next time sweet cheeks." He said kissing my cheek and leaving
"Here." She said giving me a shirt
"Why are you here?" I asked still slurring my speech
"Are you drunk?" She asked ignoring it
"No." I said feeling my self get nauseous
"Are you high?" She asked getting the same answer back
"Why are you lying? I know you are drunk and high." She said as I stumbled and pushed past her for the couch
"Why are you in my apartment?" I asked sitting down
"Mom has a key to it still and she was upset you didnt show up to her birthday dinner so I came instead of Matt. And after what I just witnessed you should be glad it was me." She said sitting next to me
"I dont want you here." I said leaning forward and grabbing Abbys bong that was still fresh from earlier
"Really? In front of a federal agent." She said watching me as I took a hit
"What can I say." I said shrugging and blowing the smoke out
"Why are you like this all of a sudden?" She asked taking it out of my hands and putting it on the table
"Wouldnt you be like this too if your family wanted nothing to do with you anymore and you are having to live in the shadow of your older successful sister." I yelled standing up frustrated
"What are you talking about we still want everything to do with you. You are family." She said looking at me as I paced
"Am I really now?" I asked as she nodded yes
"I mean I didnt get invited to Matt and Ambers Easter party like I usually am. Or even to moms birthday dinner tonight." I said proving my points
"Char settle down." She said standing up
"You dont get to tell me to settle down. Ive been living in your shadow. The whole Christmas thing happened because of you." I said getting even more nauseous
"What are you talking about?" She asked confused
"Aunt Karen sat there and belittled me because I wanted to go into the film industry for editing and she sat there and repeated over and over that I was a failure and that should be just like you. Well Im not going to be just like you because I hate you." I yelled finally realizing I need to throw up and ran to the bathroom crying
"Shhhh its ok." JJ said holding my hair back as I threw up everything from that night and blacking out

I woke up the next morning smelling bacon that instantly got me out of bed.
"Abby you are the best room mate ever. Bacon after getting super drunk and high is my favorite." I said yawning as I walked into the kitchen stopping when I saw JJ and her boyfriend
"Wheres Abby and why are you still here?" I asked not moving from my spot
"You passed out next to the toilet and I had to call Will to carry you to your bed." She said placing a plate down on the counter for me
"That doesnt answer for Abby." I said eyeing it carefully
"She never came back." She said now putting a cup of coffee down in front of me
"Sit we need to all talk." My moms voice came from behind me knowing well that it was going to be an intervention
