~ Twenty Two ~

" Yes?"

" could you maybe give me my phone?..... Just to call Elly and also because I miss going on Instagram"

" You'll give me back your phone when you are going to come back."

" Yess! Thanks mom!"

She closes the door.

I put my right heeled sneaker on and I take my black and gold chained mini bag. I put my keys my purse and the little black dress Jenny gave me in case I'll get really hot knowing its like 98 Fahrenheit outside. I take my brush and a few pads in case. I clean my bedroom, dress my bed and I leave the house. I take the stairs to go downstairs until I see my mom staring at me.

" There you go our phone..."

" Thanks... Mom..."

I head to the front door until...

" Rain?..."

" Yes mom?"

" I don't want to lose you again. Be safe okay?"

" Okay mom promise." I smile at her slightly.

I leave the house with a sigh of relief realizing I haven't been outside for 2 weeks. Although I have the plan of heading to Matt's house, I'm going to head to Elly's first to get news from her.

I start walking through the forest to head to Elly's. It was a shortcut and I didn't want to walk for too long in these heels.

" Are you lost?" asks  voice behind me

" What?"

" I asked if you're lost." 

" I know where I'm heading thanks..." I say as I'm trying to get further away form this creep by walking fast.

" Are you sure?" He says walking faster following me.

" I said I know where I'm heading okay?!"

" Don't get mad Riverton."

"WHAT?!"

I turn around and then there's a man. Black, tall nicely, wearing a mask on his face, very smatly dressed with work shoes.

" Who are you?"

" Are you sure you want to know?"

" How do you know my name?"

" I didn't mean to hurt you, sorry for scaring you Rain."

" OKAY you're gonna have to leave me alone before I call the police!"

" Are you sure you want to do that?"

He reaches out something from his pocket.

Before he took it out I tried to run full speed in heels to Elly's house which was kind far from where I was.

 Knowing I couldn't run full Vampire speed with those sneakers I took then off and started running full speed bare feeted. After a few moment of intense marathon I finally arrive a Elly's house. The door was already opened so I zoomed in and slammed the door shut sighing loudly. Elly came running in my direction with a baseball bat.

" WOAH ELLY ITS ME!!!!"

She slighlty slid trying to stop running then she kneels down to the floor.

" WHAT THE FUCK RAIN I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!!!"

" I'M SORRY OKAY I'M SORRY..."

" WHAT's the rush anyways?"

" There... There was just this psycho chasing m-me... It's okay don't worry..." I say trying to catch my breath again.

" So you're treating my house as a shed for protection?"
