Love is weird (a ross lynch fan fic)

Chapter 22

Emma's pov:

I slowly woke up and didn't know where I was. It was pitch black. I thought maybe Had been kind-napped. I sat up and realized I was on a bed. I looked around for my eyes to adjust to the darkness and maybe see where I was.

After a while I saw a door to my left, guitars in front of the bed and a desk to my right. I saw a light switch next to the door so slowly and quietly I got up to the switch. I didn't know if anyone else was in the room with me so I was as quiet as possible. I was terrified to flip the switch on incase I saw something I didn't want to see.

I flipped it on and it only took me a couple of seconds to realize it was Ross's room. there were r5 posters covering most of the walls. I walked around his room and looked at all his stuff. his desk was light brown with a green chair. I saw r5 symbols carved all over the drawls. I traced my fingers over them and all of the sudden another drawl popped out from the middle. I didn't even know there was one there. I thought it must of been one of those secret drawls that only the person who bought the desk knows about.

I couldn't help but glance at what was in it. there was an open notebook with song lyrics written in it. It must have been a new song he was working on because I didn't recognize the lyrics. I picked up the notebook to see what was under it. there was a bag with strange stuff in it. As I picked it up I gasped. Weed. I dropped the bag when the door opened.

At that moment someone barged in. it was Ross. he started running towards me, I thought he was going to hurt me for going through his desk. but to my surprise he picked me up and gave me the biggest hug. I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank gosh you woke up! I missed you!" He put me down, but grabbed my hands.

I just remembered that I was in Ross's room and didn't know why. I was confused. he missed me?

"Uh where did I go?" I asked him.

"Wait do you remember anything?" He asked worried.

"I just remember going Into that spinny ride at the carnival.. and being really scared." I started remembering things.

"You were freaking out after the ride, you were screaming and then you fainted when the ride was over so I took you to the hospital, they said you would be fine but gave you some sleeping medicine to sleep for a few hours so you wouldn't wake up with a massive headache. do you have a headache?"

"Oh um" I had to think if I was feeling okay. "Yeah I'm fine.."I looked down at the cigarettes and shook my head.

"I guess."

He tilted his head in confusion, and then looked down to see what I was looking at.

His mouth flew open and he tried to say something but nothing came out so I decided to say something.

"Yeah Ross, what's that??" I put my hands on my hips.

"It's old" was all he had to say.

"Really? how old?" I was being snoody but he deserved it.

"Like before I met you"

"I can't date someone who's high all the time" I winked. I didn't care much about it anymore it just took me by surprise at first.

"Don't worry it won't happen" he laughed.

"Why not throw it away, what if your mom finds it?"

"I don't know it's pretty valuable. Not easy to get , but I DIDNT THINK ANYONE WOULD GO THROUGH MY SECRET DRAWL AND FIND IT"

he was raising his voice at me but I wasn't going to do the same because I was more mature.

"Ross, I didn't meant to open the drawl I was just touching your desk and it opened by itself." I told him.

He sat down on his bed and sighed. "I believe you, I mean how would you have know there was a drawl."

I sat down next to him.

He put his head in his hands " why do I have to always mess everything up" he said to himself.

"What? Ross you don't mess everything up." I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Yes I do. I yell at you, it is not okay. You should just break up with me. You deserve better" He said shaking his head.

"What? No Ross I'm not going to break up with you. I just agreed to be your girlfriend are you trying to get rid of me? and you were amazing today, you helped me, took me to your bed, took care of me and waited for me to wake up. that's perfect boyfriend material."

He lifted his head up and tried to smile.

"so your not mad?" he asked confused.

"Just don't yell at me please"

"Of course not"

I followed him down the stairs to the kitchen after telling him I was hungry.

"So where's all your family?" I asked.

"They went to go get dinner, but I wanted to stay with you" he said while getting all kinds of food out of the pantry for me to pick from.

Talking about his family reminded me of mine.

I gasped. "Oh my gosh!! Ross!! what about my parents?? there probably so worried!!" I started panicking.

He shut the pantry. "don't worry I called them while you were at the hospital and explained everything." He started shaking his hands to get all the access trash off. "they were still at work so they asked me to take care of you. And they are visiting the hospital later for the bills"

I started to get a little sad, knowing he only took care of me because my parents asked.

I looked down, "oh"

He put his finger below my chin and pulled my head up.

"Hey, I wanted to take care of you, I would have done it anyway" he said.

I smiled, it was like he could read my mind. I grabbed the cheese it's and strawberries from the counter after thanking him.

"So let's go watch a movie!" he exclaimed and started walking to the family room, I followed.

I laughed. "what time is it?"

"8:34pm"

"Wait, my parents should be back by now" I figured out.

"We still have some time, I told them you were still sleeping right before you woke up"

"Okay but I live far away, I don't live Close to la like you." I reassured him.

" I can drive you home in a little but I still want to hang out with you because you had to faint in the middle of our date" he said jokingly and turning on the tv.

I playfully punched him. "umm excuse you, I'm sorry I was in the hospital"

He laughed.

"Want some popcorn?" He Asked me walking back to the kitchen.

"I live for popcorn!!!" I said with a huge smile.

"Weirdo" he whispered under his breath.

I walked over to him, " I heard that!!"

"I said your beautiful" he leaned down and pecked me.

"Uhh huu sure" I laughed and realized I'm so lucky to have someone as caring, funny, and adorable like Ross. I couldn't help but smile.
