Rell sucked his teeth. "I had to go to the bathroom Layla. Is that against the law?"
"Don't have no attitude with me Rell."
"Don't have no attitude with me Rell," he mocked. "When you coming home to your man?"
"Which one," she joked.
"Keep playing with me Layla. You not funny," he scowled.
"I'm playing baby, I should be over there in about an hour."
"I miss you. Hurry up."
"You don't miss me. You miss my attention," she told him. "You don't love me. You don't love nobody but your damn self."
Real peered at her and laughed. "Why are you so dramatic?"
Layla shrugged. "I don't know. I'm hungry that's probably why. I have to go anyways. Tell my baby Maddi bye and I'll see her soon."
"Nuggets," Maddison yelled in the back.
"Yes Baby. I'll bring you some nuggets."
"What about me," Rell asked. "What you bringing me to eat?"
Layla smirked. "I can bring you something real nice to eat."
Rell shook his head. "You so damn nasty."
"Only for you baby. Anyways I gotta go."
Rell nodded. "Aight babe. Hurry home."

One hour later . . .
Layla had just clocked out of work and was heading to Chick-fil-A.
She pulled up in the drive thru.
"Welcome to Chick-fil-A how can I help you?"
She placed her order consisting of food for everybody.
"Your total is $69.78."
Once she had received all the food, she placed the many bags in the passenger seat and buckled them in.
Twenty minutes later she pulled into Rell's driveway. She had texted Chanel and told her to come outside and help her.
"Hey girl," Chanel greeted her. "Where the food at?"
"Right here," Layla said pointed to the bags in the seat.
Chanel laughed. "Why do you buckle the food in?"
"Because you have to protect the food at all cost. These two bags are for you and Romeo. I got you the same as last time."
Chanel nodded. Once they gathered all the food and drinks, they went inside.
