A Connection

There’s a connection
like no other
between those
who know what
thoughts flow through
the chaotic rivers
of their minds
and what they
keep hidden
between the
folds of their
hearts from
everyone else
but them.

There’s a connection
like no other when two
souls interact and let the
skies of their lives collide
with each other,
letting the stars
in themselves create
a constellation only
they could see.

There’s a connection
so real, so raw and so true
between two when
they hear each other’s
unspoken words and feel
each other’s unheard cries.

Dedicated to redvelvetified. This was supposed to be a surprise for you on your birthday but I took way too long to write it, I know. But just accept it, welp.
