Insufferable fear lashes out inside,
for being alone in this dark and cold
lonely world seemed terribly terrifying.

And the silent cries
are drowning slowly
and silently, waiting.

And waiting
for a savior
that never truly had been.

Is the world too deaf
to the cries of those
who are in need?

Are the cries too submerged
in the deep waters of melancholy
for anyone to hear them?

The tears are taking over
the whole consciousness
shaking up the sanity to the point
where screaming was the only resolution.

The hearts feel hollowed out
for there are no emotions
other than ache and anger
for being treated as worthless
to the point where
they started believing
they indubitably weren't worthy
of seeing the sun.

If only they knew
the sun was shining
bright inside their souls.

If only they knew
the clouds of those around
them didn't matter as long
as they believed in themselves,
for believing in oneself
was all the strength needed
to go through the storms of destruction.
