The waves
they crash
against her feet

It's unbearable
her tears
the harsh breeze
it sweeps her hair behind
the dark of the night
it bites at her fears

It's scary
being there
out alone
being alone
in this world
so scary

Nothing
there's nothing but
fear fear fear
She feels even the little pinches
of fears
in this world now

But
W H Y ?

Why would it exist?

He touched her
in places
insufferable
he touched her
while she
SCREAMED
and
THRASHED
and
CHOKED
on her tears

Why wouldn't he get off her?
Why would he
keep touching her
there knowing she didn't want him to?

W H Y ?

Why would he ignore her

s
?

Didn't her rights count?

Was she less human?

Less human to be treated worthless?

And why is it her
who felt ashamed
of herself
even when it wasn't her
who did something
horrifically
and
morally
wrong?

The salt in the ocean
meets the salt in her eyes
the bitter cold ocean
gurgles inside her throat
but
the physical ache
couldn't be compared
with the emotional ache she felt

Why is it her who is
S U F F E R I N G ?

Why is it her?

Why
   was
   it
   her?

Shivers of disgust
and
horror
and
pain
they claim her now
raking up and down
her shriveled soul

this world is
s o c o l d

It was her last whimper
of submission before
she collapsed in the ocean
