Loving you was a pain
I never thought I'd gain
A drug that entered my vein
Completely blinding my brain.

Loving you went in vain
The dark already had a chain
Tied into your soul so insane
That my heart experienced the afterpain.

Loving you brought the hurricane
Into the light of my life so inane
Bringing the worst of the rain
And marking my heart with a stain.

Loving you got me hit by a speeding train,
Emotions dying up by the sprain
And losing you made me realize just how fain
I'd been with you and that I'd do it all again.
