TGGBB One Shots

"... A puppy!" Part 2

I helped Bennett onto the sofa and tried to get him to talk. "We thought that you guys were gonna have our back. We got surrounded and I had to carry Declan back into the car."
"Where is he now?" I asked eagerly
"I had to drop him off at the hospital, he nearly died, he was shot three times one in the shoulder one on his thigh and one on his stomach near the hip. There was no way we could have helped."
I almost cried. Almost. I knew Declan and I know that he will recover. But, Jordan let a couple of brisk tears stroll down his puffed up cheeks. That was what scared me. Jordan knew Declan better than anyone and he didn't think that Declan would make it through.

We helped Bennett to the best of our abilities and then we contemplated about what we needed to do. Bennett was about to talk when he heard a yap from his room. He immediately pulled out his gun and walked to the room. Jordan and I shared a glance. Before Bennett had gotten here we put all the puppies in their rooms.
"Um bent, that's- that's your dog"
"I don't have a dog"
"Well you kinda already bought one"
"You mean you bought one"
"Not one"
"Oh really"
"I got 4"
I face palmed myself. Bennett opened the door to find the dog.
"Where are the others?"
"Well, this one is Bennett, the one in Declan's room is Declan and the one in my room is Jordan and the one in Naomi's room is Naomi for now, you can still change the name if you want to"
"Sure, but Jordan, are you sure they're not refundable?"
"We are not taking them back!" I scolded.
Bennett dropped his gun in the bed and bent down to pick up the little guy. "You know what, I like him, let me see the others, I'm sure Declan will feel better when he finds little Declan"

After showcasing all the dogs we decided that each of them were perfect fits for each person.

Then Bennett got a call from Declan's mum.
"What did she say?" I asked
"Police wants us to clarify that a gang had shot us because we accidentally wandered into their territory, luckily they don't suspect that we are part of a gang, not even Declan's mum"
"That's the story your going with?" Jordan snickered
"You got a better one?"
"well you can't use my genius plan because you've already told everyone this one so.."
Bennett and I rolled our eyes at Jordan.

"I say we visit Declan in hospital and get this over with" I suggested
"Do you think that we can bring the puppy?"
"No!" Bennett and I said in unison

~In hospital~

"We got you a puppy"
"Jordan, why don't you start with, hi Declan are you feeling better? Or oh Declan it's not the same without you! Not just some weird sentence about a puppy" complained Declan
"It's true" sighed Bennett
"Jordan and I went out and bought 4 puppies while you guys were out..." I added
"WHAT!?" Shouted Declan "instead of having our backs you went and bought puppies!?"
"They are really cute though!"

We all stared at Jordan

"you are so lucky I can't get up, because I swear I will pummel you!" That was Jordan's cue to step away. I looked at Bennett, Bennett looked at me. "Oi! I'm being left out here!" Moaned Declan.
We all laughed.

A/N I think that the next chapter will be about Decomi... We'll see...
