When I first started putting together this book I almost took out the poems from 2013. Then I read them. Part of m still thinks I shouldn't ever truly publish them. However, they are important. The end of 2013 was the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. That's where all of the 2013 poems are from. A lot happened before then that I'll never forget. Everything around me was changing for the worst. It just took me a lot more time than i'd like to admit to realize by just how much it was all changing. When it finally hit me... I had to write it down. If only I had known what was going to happen to me in 2014.
