When We Held Hands

Chapter 22

Nag taxi lang ako pauwi, since wala naman akong dalang kotse.

Pag baba ko palang ng taxi ay sinundo na ako ng mga maid dito.

"Ano meron dito?" Nag tataka kong tanong.

"Pinapasundo ka lang po ng mommy niyo." Ngumiti na lang ako sa sumagot at dumiretso papasok ng bahay.

"Mommy!" Tawag ko sakaniya at may hawak hawak siyang cake. 

Ngumiti siya saakin at pinalapit ako sakaniya. 

"Pupunta kasi mga family friends natin dito!" Masaya niyang sabi. 

"Oh, that's why. What can I help?" Nag lakad ako patungo ng garden kung san magaganap ako dinner.

"Ay, baby! Wala na! Freshen up ka lang. Your outfit is okay, so you should only freshen up." She kissed my forehead and push me to our grand staircase.

Umakyat na ako sa kwarto at pabagsak na humiga sa kama ko. 

Ang dami naman mangyayari in one day. 

Tumayo na ako at dumiretso sa bathroom. 

Nag hugas lang ulit ako ng mukha at nag light makeup ulit. 

The night came and I heard laughters from downstairs. 

I breathed and came downstairs.

As I walked down at the grand staircase napatingin sa'kin ang mga bisita ni mommy. 

I smiled at them and bowed a little. 

May lumapit saakin na binata, napansin ko na pinsan ko pala ito. 

"Well, well. Karius Caspian Jules. Gwapo ah!" Tumawa kami at inakbayan ako ng aking pinsan. 

This guy is taller than me. 

"Ate, how are you?! Na-miss kita!" He hugged me tightly. 

"I can't breathe, Cas!" Tinulak ko siya at natawa na lamang siya. 

"Ay, Ate! I would like you to meet my friends. We live in the same roof." Pinalapit niya ang mga nahihiyang niyang kaibigan. 

I smiled at them. 

"Ate Zea... This Arthur Paul Gomez." Pakilala niya sa kasing tangkad niya na binata. He certainly is attractive, handsome rather. Clean cut, brown hair. Bright eyes. Tangos ng ilong, A god! 

"It's a pleaure to meet you!" Nag lahad ako ng kamay and he gladly accepted it. We shook hands and parted. 

"Eto naman si Maxell Ash Fernando." A little taller than my cousin, attractive as well. But has this dark but out going aura. 

May inakbayan siyang babae at pinalapit ito, "Ah! That's Maxell's girlfriend Kailyn Ann Mendoza." 

I smile at them and waved. Tumango naman sila at ngumiti. 

I saw a shy stunning lady behind a guy. 

"Who might that be, Cas. The girl behind that cold aura guy." I asked as I was trying to get a better view of the beautiful lady. 

Tumawa si Caspian at pinalapit ang babae, "This is Tazanna Zaylee Fernando, Maxell's Twin." 

I smiled at her and held her shoulder, she flinched at that. Which caused me to giggle.

 "You are adorable! You are stunning, shy girl. I was once like that. Go out of your comfort zone, once in a while. Okay?" She smiled at me and nodded. Good girl. 

"And lastly, Anwyll Caleb García." Lumapit ang misteryosong lalake na may pagtingin kay Tazanna. Hmmm, fishy. 

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am." Pormal niyang bungad at nag lahad ng kamay. 

I accepted and smiled, "A García, I see. Well, all of your last names are so familiar. Aren't your parents all my parent's close friends?" I asked everyone of them. 

"Fortunately, yes po." He said politely. 

Tumango tango, "Well, it's nice to meet all of you. I should get going. Enjoy yourselves." 

They waved at me. As I was walking to go out of the garden.  Humarang sa'kin sila Ryan. 

"Ganda natin ah!" Ryan kissed me in the cheek. 

Sunod naman sila Nathan, Ian, Delton, Aisha, at Amora. 

"Good evening, guys." Masaya kong bati. 

"Where's your kuya, Amora?" Asking my bestfriend's whereabouts.

She smiled, "Kuya's talking with our businessmen and businesswomen outside, Ate." 

"Alright, susunod ako sakaniya. Talk to you guys, later!" 

Pag labas ko sa Garden. 

Huh. Bumalik na pala siya.
