I can't believe this is happening. I know at first I was okay with it but now I'm really freaking out. This is nuts! I'm a werewolf! A fucking werewolf. And this gorgeous girl dressing in front of me is my mate! I get to love this girl till the day I die.

Okay. I can wake up now. I pinch myself and close my eyes. I open them again but I'm still in this beautiful forest.

This is really confusing. What is going on? This must be some elaborate prank right? It must be?

'Mia?' I call.

She turns around and says 'Yeah? What's up?'

I sigh. I don't think I can handle all this information at once.

'You are going to have to explain what's going on. My minds all over the place. I need more of the story. This all is too unreal! How can I just accept all this? You are telling me that I'm some mythical being! This is nuts Mia!' I slowly start to rant. It wasn't intentional but I was getting overwhelmed. My mind is running 100 miles per hour with questions and doubts. I've never felt this feeling before. Nothing makes sence. Surly I would know if I was some mythical creature right?

'Calm down I know that this is all so overwhelming but please do stay calm and try to understand.' She sooths me. 'Now let me explain what's happening.

Okay so your mother and father are a very rare bread of wolves who couldn't live in the pack incase of a attack from rouges. We couldn't afford to loose such an important breed of wolf. So since your mother and father understood how we were thinking at the time, your mother being pregnant with you they suggested leaving so we sent you away. We all agreed that when you are sixteen and would have showed signs of being a wolf and finding your mate we would move you back to the pack land.

You are a black breed. They tend to not show signs of their wolf till at least sixteen, this is why. Black breeds have immence power and are huge in wolf form. They give off a smell unlike any other wolf. Any rouge would want to kill them or at least capture them. When young a black breed wolf lies dormant within its human host but still gives off this amazing scent that rogues can sense and want to take it for themselves.

For these reasons, we sent you away to keep you safe. We are sorry for hiding this until now but please understand that we were trying to protect you.'

As she was talking my mind was racing. All this just doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't my parents tell me this? Why hide all this from me? Wouldn't they tell me just incase I did something stupid or if rogues came to capture me? None of this adds up!

'So.. What does this mean for me now?' I ask not entirely there, 'what do i do now?'

She gives me a weak smile. 'Don't worry for now. Just act as you have been.' Her smile becomes stronger and happier. 'My dad will talk to you and your parents later, but now we need to go back to the pack house to tell my dad your wolf has come through.'

'How did you even know about that?' I ask, I really didn't understand how on earth she could have known. What even.... Oh yeah.... The smell she was talking about. That may explain a lot.

'One, the smell and two, you could tell we were mates. It was pretty obvious.' she replied. So that voice in my head was my wolf?

'I had a feeling that was the reason.' I say looking down embarrassed. 'Can we go now?' I really need to know more about where my parents came from and who they really were.

Mia nods and walks further into the forest, away from the school. Where is she going? Is she lost? But arn't wolves supposed to have a good sense of direction?

'Um... Mia? Where are you going? The schools in that direction' I say pointing behind me towards the school.

She nods, 'I know. We are not going to the school Alla' She says 'We are going to the pack house remember?'

"Oh yeah." She did say. Okay Alla, wake up. Get a grip. Listen to what she's saying I tell myself in my head.

'yeah I think you should start to listen, otherwise you are going to have a hard time getting control of me human'

I stagger back. 'What was that?'

'What was what?' Mia says, stopping and looking back at me, concern written on her face.

'That... That voice just now.' I look around frantically. Looking for anyone other than me and Mia. The voice was so loud, like the person was standing right beside me.

I look back at Mia and she smirking in amusement. 'What's so funny?' I ask with a tint of anger in my tone.

'You' She says now breaking out in fits of laughter. 'That voice you are hearing is your wolf talking to you' She says between breaths.

What? Mia can tell I'm confused as she composes herself and starts to explain.

'Your wolf can talk to you in your mind. As your wolf is a spiritual being it has its own mind and being and all of that so it can talk to you in your head.' She turns back around and starts walking again. I follow right behind her. 'It's really complicated that not even the elders fully know how it all works and the wolves always refuse to tell us how it all works. They say its so complex tbat the human mind couldnt possible understand.' I nod. That seems fair considering my reaction to finding out I'm some kind of werewolf.

I sigh in my mind.

"This is way to much for me to handle all at once" I say to myself.

'get used to it sweety because there is way more you need to know'

"Hello, and what would that be?"

'Wait and see human'

"I have a name you know wolf?"

'And so do I'

"So what is it?"

I never knew wolves had individual names. I wonder what Mia's wolf name is.

'Arră'

"Isn't that just my name translated in Japanese?"

There's silence. I guess she doesn't want to talk anymore.

Me and Mia walk in silence through the beautiful forest.

We come to a bright green opening... What I see next was not what I was expecting...
