I opened the door to my small apartment. I put my bags in to my room, and plopped onto my bed pulling out my phone. I sat there staring at Matt's contact for five minutes.

Am I supposed to text him first? I thought, maybe I should just wait. Five minutes later I couldn't handle anymore waiting. I quickly found his contact and typed hi, before I could change my mind. What have I done?

Matt's POV

"Carter, she just asked me for my phone number!" I said. It had finally hit me when we were walking out to the parking lot.

"Yeah, I know I was there." Carter replied. He seemed like he was in a bad mood.

"Why are you in such a bad mood, grumpy pants!" I teased.

"No reason it's nothing." He said.

"Ok now you sound like a girl, just tell me it's pretty obvious you're in a bad mood." I told him. I was really hoping that he would now tell me.

"Fine." He sighed. "The one girls friend Molly, I was kind of hoping she would ask for my number." He looked down, I've never really seen Carter be upset about a girl or, not get a girl.

"What ever, let's just go back to your place." I said.

"Wow, you're are such a help." Carter said sarcastically.

"Haha, yeah come on let's go." I said. We were sitting in the car listening to the radio. Songs we've both heard a million times played. It was a long drive back to Carter's, so we were just gonna have to deal with it.

We were both sitting in silence listening to Roar for the hundredth time. Suddenly my phone buzzed, I looked down at my phone and say it was from Celia. I had a mini heart attack, I quickly unlocked my phone to read it. It said hi.

She just texted me.
