Author's P.O.V

"Man that mission was tiring!" Naruto stretches his arms behind his head and let out a yawn.

"You're actually TIRED?!" The pinkette Sakura gasped as she looked at her blonde friend, never had she ever heard those words from the young jinchuriki.

"Well Naruto did complete 2 smaller missions prior to our mission as a team" the pale boy Sai pointed out as team 7 walked through the large arch that served as the entrance to the Hidden Leaf Village.

"So are you going to go home and rest Naruto?" Sai asked the blonde as e looked at him curiously. "Nah, I'm going to head to Ichiraku Ramen, haven't had a bowl from there in ages!" Naruto grinned widely at his fellow team members. "I saw you eating there three days ago" Sakura groaned at Naruto, making the boy laugh nervously at the pinkette's glare. "Exactly! That was ages ago!" He said, making her facepalm.

"Well change of topic, you can go to Ichiraku Ramen while Sakura and I report to lady Tsunade" Sai suggesting, Naruto nodded in agreement. "Sounds perfect, I'll catch up with the two of you later than!" Naruto gave Sai a thumbs up as he sprinted off down the street towards his favourite Ramen place.

"Didn't he say he was exhausted just a few seconds ago?" Sai asked the pink-haired girl next to him.

"That's Naruto for you" Sakura smiled slightly. Although Naruto was a pain in her side sometimes, she would always call him her friend.

Naruto's P.O.V

My favourite place in the world!

Walking up to the store, I sat down on one of the stools. "Hey, old man!" I greeted Teuchi, otherwise known as the ramen guy.

"Back from your mission already Naruto?" He asked as he approached me. "Yep! And am I starving" I laughed, Teuchi smiled genuinely at me.

"What can I get for my best customer?" He asked me, that title from Teuchi, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen himself was quite the honour.

"I'll have a miso ramen old man" I told Teuchi, who nodded in response.

"The usual I see, that's 85 ryo" He told me, but havinfbordered this particular ramen countless times, I knew it was this much, grabbing my green toad-shaped wallet Gama-chan, I opened her up only to see a gaping hole at the bottom, not one coin in there.

"Something wrong?" Teuchi asked the blonde boy with the look of distraught on his face.

~Flashback~

"Looks like the road forks here" Sai stated, looking at the roads ahead of us.

"We'll regroup here after we've surveyed the area" Sai replied as the Sakura and I nodded in agreement.

"I'll go with Sai, you'll be okay on your own, right Naruto?" Sakura asked me, I grinned as I pointed to my chest.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine!" I reassured my teammates, they nodded as we parted ways, agreeing to meet back here later.
