Lena POV:
I was in my office working, and touched my necklace around my neck and saw a hologram of Kara, Emily and I smiling with our new dog, I smiled softly and heard a knock on the door, I turned off the hologram.
"Enter" I said in a professional tone. Kara, and Jess had came in. I crinkled my eyes in confusion.
"What is this?" I asked at Kara with a smile.
"I wanted to surprise you, I know that you were going to be working hard as always, so I brung some lunch with me also" She explained with a smile.
"You didn't have to do that Kara" I whispered to myself with a cheeky smile.
"I know, but I wanted to" she replied
"Ms. Luthor, you might as well, you'll be here for a while." Jess said with a smile" I'll cancel your meetings and make sure you have them next Thursday, so you can just focus on your soon to be wife, you've been working so hard, might as well have a free day" she said
"Well, we do have to do wedding planning to do.." I mumbled
"Then this is perfect!" Jess exclaimed
"O-ok" Kara whispered
"I'll grab some wedding magazines and contact some wedding planners " she said running out the door, closing it behind her.
I chuckled at her excitement and Kara walked to a chair across me, sitting down, I smiled softly at her, leaning across the table for a kiss, she kissed back, but blankly. Something has to have bothered her, her sparkle in her eyes were gone, maybe she's tired? I'm not sure.
"Baby?" I asked
"Hmm?"
"What's wrong?" I asked softly.
"Mon-el worked a nerve with me, he kept asking for a date with me" She groaned.
I kissed her sweetly.
"But you, are mine, as I am yours. I think we should invite Mon-el to the wedding, so I can kiss you so passionately in front of his stupid face, so that way he knows that your mine" I whispered softly in her ear, she giggled.
That's my girl
"Thank you, I needed that" She said
"Anytime, so, what would you like to eat, I know potstickers are a definite, but I would like you to have a side, I don't want you to just eat potstickers, and you can have a nice drink along with it, if that's what you would like." I said, grabbing my iPhone X and guiding her and myself to the couch
She pouted
"But babeeee" she whined
"None of that baby, I want you to fit in your dress, it'll only be for a while." I said softly, stroking her hair and kissing away her pout
"Mm" she moaned softly
That's my puppy
"Good girl, now what side would you like? Steamed vegetables, or something else?" I asked.
"Umm, can I have some.." she mumbled incoherently
"Baby, you need to speak up darling " I said softly, caressing her cheek.
"I want your food" She mumbled
"Hmm, no potstickers baby?" I asked her
She put her head on my breasts
"I'm not that hungry" she whispered, snuggling into me"You came home so late, I was scared something bad had happened to you" She whispered.
That's what was on her mind. My baby... was worried for me...
