To Lee Jihoon,
There wasn't a lot to do today. We're required to keep up on our studies for school, but you finished at noon and I finished an hour after. It was raining out so the furthest from the simple interior of the cabin we could go was the roofed porch.
There was a chess board with a piece missing on a table made from a tree stump in front of a few plastic lawn chairs. We sat there and played a few games to pass the time. You put a rock in place of the missing white bishop.
I tried asking you a few things; how old are you, what are you planning to study in college, those kinds of thing. You just pointed at me when I asked how old you were, I guess that means we're the same age? You gave a look that kinda said "you're kidding me, right?" when I asked about college. You're going into music studies I guess.
I wonder why you didn't say anything. I'll ask you tomorrow.
Right now I just want to enjoy a few more boring chess games and the smell of the rain.
