"Georgie, what the fuck is this gobshïtë doing here?" Desmond growled.

"Ummm..." she panicked.

"I'm here to see my girl, obviously. Now if you don't mind, we were about to do it on your girlfriend's desk," Gill responded.

"Get. Out. Of. My. House." Desmond roared at him. I didn't know the history between them but I'd sensed it last time when we met Gill at the benefit concert.

"Gill, you should probably go," Georgie admitted.

"Why? Because your brother got his panties in a bunch?" Gill scoffed incredulously.

"Desmond, I think you should go wait in our room." I offered. "I'll make sure Gill gets out of here," I added.

"No. I want to throw the ludder out meself." His accent always increased with anger and passion.

"I'm not going anywhere. Georgie and me are adults. We can see each other if we want." I wanted to correct his grammar but it didn't seem the time. Georgie and I. Not Georgie and me.

Georgie rolled her eyes. "We aren't seeing each other. We just hook up when I'm in town," she offered.

"How long has this been going on?" Desmond accused.

"I don't know. We saw each other in Paris in May so like six months. I didn't think you'd be this mad," she shrugged nervously. "I mean I know you fired the guy for some reason but you never told me why. How was I supposed to know it was this big a deal?" Georgie excused trying to turn it around on Desmond.

"Woah, woah. No need to open old wounds," Gill tried and I suddenly realized who he was.

"You want to know why I fired him, Georgie?" Desmond hollered in his rage. I took his hand and tried to calm him down. "I found him fückïng Winona backstage at a show." Georgie instinctively recoiled and Gill pinched the bridge of his nose.

"It takes two to tango," Gill spat by way of an excuse.

"Get out, you ärsëhole." Georgie ground out, looking equally as furious as Desmond now.

"Seriously?" Gill gasped, actually surprised. "It was a long time ago, G. Before I knew you." He pleaded pathetically.

"She said get out," came Geri's voice from behind me and I found her tone to be soothing.

"Fine," he sighed grabbing his shirt off my desk chair. He turned before storming out. "I've got a side piece anyway." Then he walked out.

"He was my side piece." Georgie shrugged and I snorted.

"Oh, I get the nickname now," Geri quipped and left.

"Maybe I should go see what Analeigh is up to?" I asked and Desmond nodded solemnly. I kissed his cheek and made my exit.

"Are you ok?" I whispered as Desmond snuggled in next to me on the oversized chair in our ground floor living room. 'Love Actually' was on but I hadn't really been paying attention to it.

"Yeah, we can talk about it later ok?" He asked as he nuzzled me. Breathing me in he seemed to calm somewhat. His anxious and frustrated energy was disappearing as we cuddled on the couch.

As the movie drew to a close Analeigh sniffled, "that bloke couldn't say two words to the woman he loves and he loves her. Ye aren't so unrealistic." She looked to us and I snorted.

"Sorry." I muttered.

"We are real. That was not." Desmond translated what my snort meant.

"Stop crushing my dreams." Analeigh whined chucking a throw pillow at us.
