I looked at the bright phone screen that lit up the dark room with squint eyes. The message that was written sent a sudden shock through my body like a strike of lighting. I could feel the sweat on my brow arise and the knot in my stomach form as I looked down at her, sleeping so soundly on my chest. The nerves inside me were stirring up as I watched her sleep so innocently.
