Hold Your Tongue
Tame is the tongue,
That speaks no lies...
And drowns gossip,
Until it dies.
Falls from the mouth...
Nary a blistered word;
Of those whose secrets,
Have been unheard.
Alas, a buttoned lip,
Will produce no shame.
When locked, unbending,
The tongue that is tame.
