but i see things

in a different light

laugh at me

scorn me

hate me

but this is me

i am what i am

i don't pretend

i don't deny

i don't ...

well i don't

just don't

you all look for the right words

the right phrases

the right rhyme

me

i just see words

and these words

unconnected

as they are

are a real

perspective into what i am

i am not 

a saint

or

a

sinner

i am me

sober

or

drunk

i remain the same

so

hate me

if you want

it will not change

me

i am real

i am me

this is me

accept me

or 

despise

me

the choice

is yours
