STEPS ON THREADS
So watch my footsteps
Can I whisper
If there's aught to inquire of me
I will answer
Clean as slate a life so young
Missteps on innocence thrived
Dark chequered past buried
Tottering steps to future unknown
Watch my footsteps
Angels with a hand
I wanted to follow you
Guide shaky treads of one so lost
When there's faux pas let it be
Stepping right in a world so muddled
Puts my goodness to a test
Yet with critics hooded in a watch
A heart so green lives how it knew best
Guide steps made on shaky threads.
