Patricia Sings Her Heartsong

Patricia sings her heartsong

Of hands to hold and kin to love

And Saints, remembered, now Above.

She sings of open doors and -

With a gentle disposition -

Delights her family, friends,

(And chatty birds) with her rendition

Of a love - without conditions.

Patricia sings her heartsong.

Of a Savior and His smile,

When He held the children close

And said, "Let them stay awhile".

She sings of girls with sparkling eyes,

And boys who climb the tall tall trees.

She sings of hummingbirds and bees,

Of sun and snow and Spring's rainbows,

And precious time spent in prayer's repose.

Patricia sings her heartsong.

Oh! We are lucky folk!

When Patricia comes along -

And we can listen to her song.
