Joe instantly kissed her back and they both smiled through the kiss before they both slowly pulled away from one another and Joe grabbed hold of her hands looking down at her.
"Why now?" Joe inquired.
"Because I'm confident you're coming home and I'm not going to lose you." Demi breathed.
"Fair enough." Joe replied and she laughed hugging him back as he wrapped his arms around her.
"As long as you don't mind about the baby." Demi stated.
"Of course not," Joe demanded. "Sure, I wished it was my baby you were carrying but that's not your fault and it's not his fault." Joe pulled away from her and Demi couldn't help but smile.
"Thank you, I just hope Spencer will stay around. He deserves to have his real dad around." Demi admitted.
"Yeah he does but that's between you and him. I'm going to be home real soon and I'll be ready to meet him," Joe grinned and Demi smiled. "I love you."
"And I love you," Demi answered. "Call when you get there."
"I will." Joe vowed leaning down kissing her again but he pulled away before she could kiss him back and Joe lifted Jack back up in his arms making him squeal not expecting it as he played with Oscar and Joe kissed his head gently.
"I'll talk you later little man, okay?" Joe inquired and Jack nodded his head gently.
"Okay daddy." Jack replied feeling Joe put him back on the ground.
"We'll wave from the window, okay? It's a bit cold to be going outside. Demi encouraged her son laying her hands on his shoulders and Joe cracked a smile looking at them both. He knew he'd be back with them soon enough. He couldn't help but give them both another hug saying a final goodbye before leaving the house meeting his parents at the bottom of the yard.
Demi encouraged Jack to wave as the cab pulled away and he did before turning to his mom.
"Just me and you again baby boy." Demi breathed kissing his forehead gently.
"No, me, you and baby." He corrected and she smiled leading him over to the couch as Denise and Paul came back through into the house shivering slightly from the cold.
"You looking forward to being a big brother Jack?" Denise inquired and he nodded his head gently and Demi smiled kissing his hair gently.

They all sat and had some lunch together before Denise and Paul headed off home. All the families had their phones near them in case Demi needed them, just because the baby wasn't Joe's didn't mean they didn't care about him or Demi, Demi would always be apart of their family.
"Daddy should be there about now." Demi stated as she passed Jack his sippy cup with juice in.
"Why can't us visit daddy?" Jack inquired and Demi laughed slightly.
"It's not really somewhere safe that all the workers want their families to go and visit them." Demi replied.
"If it not safe then why they there?!" Jack questioned.
"Because it's their jobs, someone has to do it but you'll see daddy soon enough." Demi assured him sitting down next to him. They had the TV on in the background but it was something Jack had seen many times before so he wasn't too interested. Jack was about to speak again when Demi's phone started ringing.
"Daddy?" Jack questioned and Demi smiled as she saw it was him.
"Yep," Demi replied and answered the phone. "Hi Joe."
"Hey, I'm here." Joe greeted.
"Plane ride okay?"
"Other than some kid kicking my seat the whole way, yeah," Joe replied and Demi laughed. "Is Jack there?"
"You mean, you don't want to talk to me? You want to talk to Jack?" Demi questioned.
"Mommy!" Jack whined standing up trying to get the phone off her but she was moving out of the way trying her best not to harm either of her sons in anyway. Joe was laughing as he heard them.
"Put him on." Joe demanded and Demi passed the phone over to Jack who held it against his ear.
"Hi daddy, mommy was being mean." Jack stated.
"I'll tell her off, okay?" Joe demanded and he giggled.
"Daddy, mommy said it not safe where you are so why you there?" Jack questioned.
"Because it's my job Jack but it is safe where I am right now as I speak to you. As safe as it can be, okay?"
"Okay daddy, when you next home?"
"Soon, I can't tell you exactly yet but soon. You have to look after mommy for me before then." Joe demanded softly.
"I will." Jack demanded back and he smiled.
"Good lad, now can I speak to mommy again for a minute?" He inquired chuckling as he didn't hear a goodbye before Demi was back on the line."
"What's up?" Demi inquired.
"I'll be home when my contract runs out." Joe revealed. I'll be home by the end of March."
