A loud horn woke us all up this morning and I groaned rolling over in bed. “Hey! That's my PDA!” I heard Courtney said running outside the trailer. I lazily got up throwing my yellow sweatshirt on. “I’m so sorry, I must have started sleep twirling again” Beth said, that's who Courtney chased before. I rolled my eyes; it’s too early in the morning to be ‘sleep twirling’.

I walked to Duncan getting that half blind thing you get in the morning. “Whoa, whoa kid, I’m over here” Duncan said guiding me to him. I put my head on his chest “So.Early.” I groaned.

He laughed a little stroking my hair which was messy. “Yeah, I’m not too thrilled getting up this early either” He said.

“Did she say sleep twirling?” LeShawna asked rejoining the conversation.

“That PDA is my legal right in this game! Touch it again Beth and prepared to be served!” Courtney said.

“Oh no, not served” I said rolling my eyes.

“Do you have something to say Alex?” She asked walking towards Duncan and I.

I barely looked at her “Shoo fly, shoo” I said hugging Duncan while he put his arms around my waist.

She huffed going away from us. Chris blew another horn coming out with a band set on his back “Morning sports fans! Who’s ready to put up a good offense?” He said.

“Spaghetti here! Get your piping hot spaghetti here!” Chef said coming out looking like people at baseball games selling food. Chef then threw spaghetti balls at us.

Duncan caught two and I finally looked up from his chest, the light hurt my eyes. I grabbed one from Duncan eating a little. “Whoa whoa, that was a spit ball!” Harold said getting up from being hit.

“That was breakfast” Chris said.

“Pasta for breaky?” Lindsay asked.

“Sounds good to me, this is my meal of choice” I said.

“It’s called Carbo-Loading contestants” Chris said. “Today your all going to give two-hundred percent in our exciting sports movie challenge”

“You are aware that two hundred percent is a mathematical impossibility” Harold said. “Cool story, tell it at party’s?” I said annoyed.

Chef threw another spaghetti ball in his face. “Suck that gehtti back you loveable underdogs destined to come back from certain failure, we’ve got a training run” Chris said. A few gasped but I groaned still. “Don’t worry babe, you got those sexy track legs” Duncan said running a hand down my legs.

I sighed eyes closed enjoying my spaghetti ball. “You okay? Your tired period after just waking up doesn’t last this long” He said pulling me closer.

“I’m alright, just a little sick I guess” I said.

“I have some Advil, just take it easy today” He said kissing me softly.

“I’ll try” I said as he grabbed me his water bottle and Advil. Then we went off with the rest for the run.

So much for taking it easy, Duncan was jogging slowly with me at first then Courtney came by us, so I ran a little ahead of her. Then she retaliated with running a little ahead of me. It went like that until we were both neck and neck with each other in front of everyone else. “Is that all you got sports fans!?” Chris yelled to us. “Man up! It’s time for more action”

Courtney and I stopped finally with everyone else both collapsing breathing heavily. “Whoa, maybe I spoke too soon, Courtney and Alex seem to have it” Chris said.
