Huminga ako ng malalim pero makaraan ang ilang sandali ay muling nagbuntong hininga.

Nahihirapan ako.

"C-can i know her decision?" Tanong ko.

"Sorry Ms De Leon but we can't tell you. We want your answer nang walang bahid na ibang opinion. Na hindi dahil yun ang pinili ni Ms Maraguinot ay yun na rin ang pipiliin mo."

I nodded lightly.

"Your seniors, hindi namin sila nagawang matanong tulad ng sa inyo ni Ms Maraguinot. Kanilang desisyon ang ginawa nila. May naging parte man kami, yun ay ang sabihin ang rules sa kanila." Ani Sir Em

"Were you sad when you see a relationship fails because of this rule?" Tanong ko ulit.

"Ofcourse we are. But we all just wanted the best for our players. You may see the love in their eyes but you will never know if what they feel for each other are true. So we made options. To be together in this team but had to be apart for a year or leave the team but you will be free from the restrictions."

"Its really hard right now. Not knowing her answer creeps me out. What if she accepted to be apart for a year or the other way around."

"Dont think what was er decision. Think of what you think is the best for your relationship. Ano nga ba ang gusto ni Bea De Leon?"

I looked up trying to find some answers and look down in my hands again.

Jho loves to play. She wanted to finish her playing career. And i love to play too but i can live without it.

Jho played because of the scholarship. I did too but my family can pay my fees.

"My decision is.." I stopped.

I took a deep breath and look at him.

"Im in Sir."

Ngumiti naman ito. "Very well. You two can find the answers of each other by the action you will made later. Starting today, you will step away from Ms Maraguinot. A year is not long."

I closed my eyes for a while and opened it again.

"You may go now."

I said goodbye before walking out from his office.

I took another breath saka umalis sa lugar na yun. Wala na si Jho roon.

I decided in dahil mananatili pa rin kami sa isang team.

Magkasama pa rin and management wouldnt know if we talk inside the dorm or if we ask a teammate to help us.

I smiled at the thought.

Now we are here at the BEG for our afternoon training. Ngumiti lang ako kay Jho na kanina pa nakatingin pagpasok ko palang.
